I actually dont agree, he just sorely lacked pace needed for the Barca backline i think he would be boss in a deeper defensive line.

None the less i suggest a CB with pace and is composed in the tackle does'nt necessarily need to be a technical god because Puyol aint.

But i have trust in CB's coming through at Barca such as Fontas, Bartra, Muniesa and Sergi Gomez.....

But the majority of these are not ready yet so i would buy an experienced CB who can help bring these gusy through and allow Puyol rest....

Alex from Chelsea fits the bill imo.

He's not ultra fast, but he's faster than Hummels and fits the Puyol type defender more than Hummels does imo.

Yes but Abidal, Puyol( who is likely to get injured at any moment), Pique and Fontas( who is a kid).

Desperately need another CB, If Milito was'nt so ravaged with injurys and lost his form he would of been ideal but unfortunatly injurys destroyed him.

Mascherano can play some CB,but still will feel better if we got another true CB.
