Fabulous food is not something that allows you to take a picture and upload it online.its too darn tasty for you to stop eating.

when you realize you should share what you feel and taste, you've just stopped, and are staring into an empty plate.the brilliance is gone.

The taste still lingers in your mouth, but it brings out a feeling of lonesome happiness that is rare in the modern word.

see, moments are said to be better when you have people to share it with. But some things transcend that.Even if you did manage to shuffle out your phone and take a picture, you realize it's useless. An image cannot define how the aroma stroked your nostrils; how the fierce taste burnt your wanting lips; or how the texture felt against your sorry tongue as the corrugated piece of bliss melted in your barren mouth.

Most probably though, you held your breath, closed your eyes and chewed to let the satisfaction set in. And then chewed some more.

And when you opened your eyes,

your plate is empty, yet you feel fulfilled.
you are alone, but you feel complete.
the chewing has stopped, but the journey has just begun.

That's what a plate of happiness feels like.
For food is what you eat, but brilliance is when the thing that
was once served to you- engulfs you completely.

sigh.

That was brilliant, vas. I used to write poetry, but I have not written anything in ages - perhaps you just gave me the motivation I needed to start again!

Volleyball takes precedent at this time in my life. I have just not found the motivation/inspiration to write poetry and I'm not one to force the issue Sad

For me, I think probably the shower. But when I try to recall any good ideas I had while I was in the shower, I can't think of anything... but I'm sure I did some good thinking there.

So, who else here watches Game Of Thrones. I know Ninja, ES and Dante does, probably dostoevsky too, judging by his sig. We can form our very own house here in GL Very Happy

Anyone excited for E3? PS4, Xbox One, gonna be exciting.

Looking forward to the Confederations Cup?

Seen any movies this summer? Watched Star Trek 2 and Ironman 3, avoided Great Gatsby because it's one of my favourite books ever and don't wanna see it tainted by Ass Luhrman. Waiting for Man Of Steel

Catching up with you all Very Happy Did not see Iras and BMF3 for a while hmm

I'm two episodes behind atm - will be one episode behind in an hour's time :p - however I've just watched the show thus far, I'll try and read the books at the end of the year when I have more time.

I've seen the new Star Trek, haven't had a chance to watch Iron Man 3 yet. I will probably go and see the Great Gatsby, I liked the book but it's not something I think will be ruined for me fortunately if I don't like the movie.

Out of interest, has anyone else read the Ender's Game series? The movie of Ender's Game is coming out at the end of the year and I'm terrified they're going to ruin it.

Got Proud Currently reading A Feast For Crows , my body and mind are not ready Proud

Here's my theory as to the grand finale of GoT :

After every Lord and all their sons and daughters in Westeros are dead because of war/dragons/whitewalkers/winter/marriages , little Rickon is of age and decides one day go to king's landing and claim to be the rightfull king , a little bird of Varys told him he has claim now . He arrives at King Landing and finds Littlefinger and Varys drinking wine and laughing at the people who thought they ruled westeros back in the day . They make Rickon Stark king though , because they can't control the mob without a muppet king . Then on the same day he gets to know he'll be king , Arya after years of intense ninja training with Jacken H'gar , will not recognise Rickon after all these years , thinking him as a Lannister , kills him and gets the rightfull claim to queenship by conquest.

But somehow Bran then appears on Hondor's back and witness the killing , then he gets mad and wargs into Hodor and says " Hodor " and kills her before Arya can explain what an idiot he is . Littlefinger then approves and talks about how he succesfuly climbed the lader whilst being crippled and played the game and won when everybody was dead and how he had always been a friend to his mother and father . Some months later , Hodor apparently went mad and killed Bran , Littlefinger could confirm

When asked by Grand Meister Pycelle , who had turned into a wight during the winter but didn't mean anything since he was already an ugly old man even before the winter came , asked him how did Bran die , Hondor says "Hondor" and Varys orders his execution .

So with now every lordly claim definitely dead , Varys reveals he actualy has a pennis and balls intact and it's the last thing he gets to see , shot by the crossbow Joffrey used to play. Varys stands up , puts his pants on and says to the dead Littlefinger "Chaos is a pit" and then walks to the Iron Throne and rules Westeros once and for all. However , after years away from sex he couldn't help himself and ruled only for a couple of years , eventualy died from an aphrodisiac disease .Grand Meister Pycele who's still alive , remembers that Aemon Targaryen had royal claim and used to be a maester in the Night's watch and sents ravens everywhere to find out if he's alive. Days later someone brings a letter which says " a man can take you where the Dragon Meister is" and before he can say anything , the man with the long hair slits Pycele's throat for all the bad stuff he did against the Starks .The last face he sees is that of Ned Stark , which was Jacken H'ghar who wanted to troll Pycelle after S01E09 .

He then sits on the Iron Throne with infinite coolness and swagg and rules like a boss.

My theory about GoT

I've read all the books on GoT still waiting for the next installment Very Happy

The tv series i've decided not to follow anymore because the events in the book were already far too infuriating/heartbreaking/annoying and since i knew what was coming I didn't want to get emotionally attached to my favourites.

However, if you haven't read the books i highly recommend that you watch the Tv series as it is imo the best series in it's genre. My favourite characters are Arya Stark, Tyrion and Jagen H'ghar. My favourite moment is Tyrion's warning to Cersei ,that one day her joy will turn to ash in her mouth and that she will know the debt is repaid.. hmm dat chills.

Gaming whenever i get some free time Very Happy Batman Arkham City blew my mind and then the best/worst thing happened my flash-disk which i use as a memory card crashed so i lost all my saved files from Skyrim , Batman , PES , Gears , ect. Nooooooooooooo!!!

I've only seen Iron Man 3 so far, was an improvement from the second one. Most anticipated movie for me is Ender's Game, the book was good, and i have doubts to whether the movie can do the book justice. I'd be disgusted if this turned out to be just one of those Michael Bay type movies that just allot of explosions with very little depth, but seeing as a fellow South African in Gavin Hood is directing the movie, I'm praying he gets it right.

Also i doubt they would make a trilogy out of it as there was very little action in the following books compared to the first book.

**IF you haven't followed the tv series until the red wedding do not read!!!**

All that was Cat's doing, had the Kingslayer not been set free the Stark's would still be in the dominant position, F***ing dum B*tch, she was also responsible for getting Ned killed, oh lawd i hate her , so happy she's swimming with the fishes.
