Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
Our Injury list
- Conor Henderson ( knee injury )
- Return Date ( After Six month from now )
- Wenger's Comment ( “Conor has a knee injury and it looks as if it is a cruciate,” Arsène Wenger told Arsenal.com. “That means unfortunately that he will be out for six months at the very least.” )
------------------------------
- Abou Diaby (Ankle)
- Return Date ( Unknown )
- Wenger's Comment ( “Diaby is out longer term so that is why I do not speak about him," said Arsene Wenger on July 22. "We do not count Diaby for August. He will miss the start of the season for sure.” )
------------------------------
- Cesc Fabregas (Muscular problem)
- Return Date ( Should be available for the Emirates Cup , If not then against Benfica )
- Wenger's Comment ( “[Fabregas] has not completely recovered from his muscular injury,” the manager told Arsenal.com. “It is too early for him, he is not ready." )
------------------------------
- Theo Waclott ( Old ankle Injury )
- Return Date ( Unknown " maybe next week or maybe next month or even maybe next season xD" )
- Wenger's Comment ( “Theo went home early and was due to have an MRI on Tuesday,” said Wenger. “It is an old ankle injury from the end of last season. It’s one that comes and goes.
“We need some more investigation because sometimes he’s completely free of it and sometimes it affects him. But we had to send him back because he couldn’t practice anymore.”

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
Yeah, now Eboue is definitely not allowed to leave.
What the frak? This shit ain't normal. It's not like these guys are skinny dudes, they are strong guys. Something's going wrong in training on with the medical staff.
Djourou, then Frimpong, now Henderson? I don't think most teams have seen that many ACL tears in their lifetimes.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
Theo better be ready for the start of the season.
He's gotten a fantastic rest this summer, and I'm sure has added another dimension to his game.
Along with Wilshere and Gervinho, Theo is one of those players I can't wwait to watch this season.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
Henderson isn't even a left back. It is very unfortunate what happened to him, as injuries like this can really have a bad impact on a young player's development. Wish him a speedy recovery.
I'm sure Walcott will be fine and dandy.

Its growing....
You missed Fabregas and Eboue.
Positive new on Fabregas is, he has moved from the gym to training with the youth squad.. And he has been telling people at social events that he isn't moving back to Spain.. Looks like we are set to keep him for another season, unless Barca stump up by this weekend..

This sounds all so familiar from Wegner, expect Walcott to be out for 2 months now...
Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
Jesus Christ, Diaby. I must be the few guys with some sort of faith in him, but now it just gets to cartoon level. Bones made out of soda crackers, indeed.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
on Jack Wilshere’s injury…
It is not very serious. They say he might be out for the whole of next week because he has an ankle inflammation. But he has not torn anything. He is a quick healer usually and a tough boy so I hope he will be quicker than the medical predictions. The England game is on August 10 and I don’t know [whether he will be available]. They told me he might be out next week. If he is out next week, he will not play against Benfica so he will certainly not play for England.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
the Sunday Mirror report Theo Walcott could miss the start of the season with his ankle injury after undergoing an operation which will force him to rest for ten days. Not the way we'd have wanted Theo to start the season.
