Schweini wants CL final

I think that we can go a long way once we've managed to progress to the group stage. We don't feel any pressure to go all the way though. We dream of making it to the final and it's our objective, but we realise that it's still a long way to go

The boys and the management are doing everything to make the fans at Alianz Arena proud this year because CL final will be hosted there.

Rummenigge said no more signings, so I'd doubt it. Hopefully in January we'd get some non-CL bound CB.

Have faith. He's noticably improved a lot and it's only preseason... Also, anyone playing besides van Buyten will look bad.

I think Badstuber isn't built for Bundesliga or EPL. Forwards are very physical and fast most of the time. The guy has got superb sense of positioning BUT he is awful with high balls and slow to start. I wouldn't have problems with him if he were tall and good in the air+ slow but he lacks...
If Heynckes miraclously fixes breno somehow then you're good to go otherwise Alex is a safe bet Very Happy

Yeah, he's not fast, but if he's got that good positioning at that age, which is the hardest thing to drill in, the rest can be strengthened. He's still very young and actually is tall (189 cm). If he can work on everything else, he'd be a good stopper with Boateng behind him since he's the fast one. It's key he's paired with someone fast, though.

Badstuber Improved...? what match are You talking about. Van Buyten played way better than him, cant count how many times Boeteng had to bail him out.

Where was Badstuber when Ibrahimovic scored against us, that was his fault. Cassano chance was also his fault.

At least Van Buyten has become so aggressive of late but Badstuber is more like a Girl very soft.

Those goals were the fault of the whole defense. The defensive line was pushed too high up and they were ALL caught off guard. Yeah, he needs pace but other wise I'm satisfied for it only being preseason. He's also getting chaces in the NT which will further accelerate his growth.

Badstuber was clearly at fault, also Cassano chance he just stood there and allow him get pass him, his a terrible player....

even 2009-2010 he also played terribly, Nani and Valencia turn him inside out. He was dropped by Loew after Krasic twisted him.

Badstuber is the worst player in Bayern, a very very bad player. I dont understand how they still play him I bet there's something behind it. Maybe his Bavarian or something.

I've previously read some reports that Hoeness promised Badstuber's father before he passed away that his son is gonna become a starter at FC Bayern. But i believe it's a rumor for sure

Can't just be Hoeness, because Loew also has a hardon for him. I'm just hoping he's gonna do a Djourou and become very solid just when he's most needed and in the span of 1 season.
