I kinda wonder how that happens? As far as I can tell, there is no correlation whatsoever between Munich and Arsenal except that their primary color is red...

Well I like Germany and Oranje more than Spain among the NTs. When I got here 8 months back, I started following Bundesliga as well. German nationals at the WC from Munich made me follow Munich Smile

That's understandable. For me, even though I currently live in the US my family is of German descent (I'm only 2nd generation American) so I became heavily interested in the German NT.

I also started supporting the Bundesliga in European competition, and Bayern best represents Germany in the UCL so of course I paid more attention to them. It was also nice that the club is run by German legends.

As for Arsenal, well I just love the way they play and how the club is run. Also, they had Lehmann, who was the only German in the EPL when I began following them (at least the only notable German I can think of). Very Happy

Last season was just painful for me. Bayern getting destroyed by Van Gaal and then Arsenal having their end of season collapse, it was awful!
