De Zerbi is the last one we should be hiring. Brighton was like the best run club in the league and had everything set and ready for him isnt it after Potter? It will end in disaster. But yea I wont mind him ofc if there is a total revamp.

i hate this kind of humble yourself talk when your team is actually good and winning... it's not like i'm out here saying we'll definitely win at the Etihad...
what's the point of not being confident in your team when they are playing well? yes based on recent history of this fixture, City will wipe the floor with us at the Etihad, but why are things not allowed to change?? or at least just for one match?
perhaps you are right in your analysis that i should be hoping for a Liverpool win and that Liverpool will eventually drop points, but they are continuing to scrape wins and it just doesn't sit easy with me
Yea fair enough. Especially if you think that(bolded part) which is kind of true. You have improved. But how much, especially in mentality, that remains to be seen.
And ofc it can change this time at Etihad, but past data shows it rarely does. They know how to get it done when it matters.

Arsenal fans trying their best to make themselves feel good with these pity beliefs. Their shit is getting shaken to the core, already making excuses when there are so many games left to play
what excuses, Mark Goldbridge is a Man Utd fan
This is crazy, did you watch the game? The ref literally gave Forest the ball for the same thing when we had it outside their box. The 90+8, we scored 20 seconds on the 8 because of subs and the GK injury and Danns concussion injury.
We really need to change the definition of an obtuse angle and add any of your posts to it to define it. You keep coming up with it every single week, it's unbelievable how willingly ignorant you are.

Examples?
Do bullet point your post. Give me a list. You can't just talk in the air every week.
If I see Ayew as your first post, goddamn and if you still include this Forest game.
Give me the list and please make sure you have an a proper explanation in your OP for your rationale, such so that I would not expect a rebuttal which is a "hey look at that". I do not have the time for that.

Anything but the latter is never going to happen with EG it just depends on his mood for the day & anecdotal evidences. Happens.

There is no argument who will be second. Arsenal won't catapult City for second and their Twitter will post for years about when they were this close to getting 2nd on this year etc as usual

Arsenal fans are Charlie from the chocolate factory.
Celebrate the one singular ticket they found in the bottom of the gutter, celebrate it with an entire symphony, enjoy their day at the factory and come home to a threadbare bed and dream to dream again.

Don't think so! Xabi is either going to stay at Leverkusen or go to Bayern for next year.

Very true.
It's just that the outlook is so narrow minded that it annoys. I have no problem with Arsenal and I want them to do well especially if it comes to beating City when we are not around, extremely well run club outside Arteta, Odegaard and most online fans.
I asked EG in Feb as well to specifically give facts on this after the Chelsea game where I cant not be anymore reasonable, putting myself in opposition shoes, he still gives his "I feel like" and leaves it there and now me asking him again now in March, where finally I demand a summary, it has been again beaten under the bush.

That's fair, 3-2 20 mins to go, I won't even count Anfield for now, anything could happen and we take the best case of the opposing team's situation and consider that, fair in hindsight since football can do wonders and maybe Chelsea could have won 4-3. We are all very concerned about the refereeing decision across the season, which is what atleast us Liverpool fans backing Klopp have been crying about.
Where does your "best thing to happen to Liverpool" play into this when we have dropped points as well (I can count 7 starting the count from Spurs A, disregarding every other game we have won and other cups) considering this?
Please do give facts rather than fleeting opinions and "I feel like".

Re: Premier League 2023/24
So the bigger question is, where does what he say deserve merit? Clearly Basketballgaard was not important in the 1-1 whereas a tactical foul by Ayew, or the 3-1 situation with Chelsea was but wait, we don't care about the Spurs loss and Brighton draw or the Jackson handball on opening day was not, these just being the biggest examples, but hey that would send us 10 points clear of Arsenal?
So maybe lets set some boundaries and limit our discussion? But if we don't, I will just ignore his rants as he does my questions.

He certainly showed balls with that blatant dive in the second half when he was already on a yellow card

Re: Premier League 2023/24
there are fans like EG around me also at my work, luckily I dont meet them every day in the world of remote working these days.
But I tell you - if it was possible, I would employ all the witch hunting for this Arsenal club just so that it keeps rotting in that zone, never wins anything, they should keep living in the past, should suffer for minimum 50 years by not winning EPL. That is how much I despise some of these fans and this club. The funny thing is - there are other English colleagues in my office who feel the same way for Arsenal.
Obviously Arsenal are gonna win at Etihad and help Liverpool, then lose points thereafter in their usual fashion. The way Arsenal players were celebrating a free kick towards the end of Brentford game, it just shows how mentally weak they feel inside, they will crumble soon.

as if we couldn't pinpoint multiple reasons as to more points we could have won...
The ball crossing the line in both the Newcastle and WHU matches we dropped points, just off the top of my mind
