Lewand is definitely unfairly criticised though, at least its gone too far But cules tend to do that, its always overreactions n black n white nothing in between Its like Busquets, ppl will only realize his qualities when hes gone, the same thing applies to Lewand. Hes aging n declined, but still a top player n much better than anything else we've got. If hes not there as a physical presence taking up n competing vs the opposition CBs, we wont have as much as up there. This was so evident when we played the likes of Guiu/Ferran or all the strikers last season up there. Lewand has some amazing qualities... I hope Roque is good consistently n continue to improve, we need him... but hes not gonna replace Lewand now... I hope he can perhaps play LW this season since we dont have one bar Cancelo whos often injured anyway

Re RM... Carvajal and Nacho CB pairing obviously can't hold up against crosses. Just too short. Really not a criticism of them. But you can't have two undersized CBs who aren't great athletes. Lucky that Atletico missed some easy headers.

I like the control of the midfield by RM. That's the strength. It works because Valverde is a B2B, Jude is an attacking CM and Cama is a traditional CM. Kroos is Kroos of course. Just a lot of versatility there.

You take the midfield and then add a killer like Mbappe... just not fair frankly. He may score 100 goals lol. PSG has no midfield and he gets 40-50.

Vibe, indeed it is. Couto for instance contract is with City. I think for technically they call it a loan to Girona. That’s why I started a new thread about ownership of 2 or more clubs as I think the UEFA rule will prevent Girona from playing in CL despite qualifying.

Also apparently RMad are interested in signing Couto if he doesn’t renew with City as his contract expires this June.
