Re: Europa League 22/23
And that's because you are a United fan.
Same for me.
Can't see how this is decent from a neutral perspective. Could be incredibly boring and is of no important relevance in the bigger picture of Europe's football.

Roma really shouldn't be getting outplayed by Ludogorets, but here we are.

Yeah such a shame when the “big boys” can’t cut it in the lowly EL, beaten by a low level team in la liga! And then blaming loss on refs! What happened to all the scoring might of the ‘big boys’

That was such a boring match to watch. I wish I could take back those minutes of my life

Re: Europa League 22/23
Watching the comments on ESPN pundits, ya same here is the biggest memory from the game was CR on his way to the GK n being caught by the defenders, n then a couple of headers thats it, hes absolutely finished as a player apart from being a old fashion tall no.9 in the box
Oh ya n Man U prolly get top 4 this season, unless Chelsea rebound or Spurs beat them out, but maybe they belong to Conference actually?

Ronaldo is 37, pushing 38 and playing in a shit team in a competition he doesnt care about. Of course he is finished, this is not a surprise

He's not that tall, but he has an insane jump. Probably also benefited from Real Sociedad having some of the shortest defenders in the league. I don't think he's "finished", personally, but he seems to be playing without the motivation that he normally has, and I think he's beyond the point where anyone would want to build their team around him. He may be very physically fit for his age, but he's not fit enough to sustainably compensate for the tactical sacrifices that teams seem to make in order to make him tick.

Re: Europa League 22/23
Having Harry Maguire play as a striker and not instructing the team to actually cross the ball into the box was magnificent to watch

Which tie are you looking forward to most?#UELdraw pic.twitter.com/OvquVAv4rL
Man United - Barca clearly the marquee match up of the round, but wow. It's surreal to think that just over a decade ago these 2 were consistently appearing in CL finals. Woof.
As for Roma, RB Salzburg is nothing to sniff at. Tough fixture.
Nantes have been good this season so that's not an easy at all for Juve.
Monaco - Leverkusen should be an interesting tie as well.
