And they would have made Madrid an exception if that was the case. Simply put the economic pull from Barça and Madrid are too high for La Liga to ignore. They need them to be competitive in Europe otherwise nobody will watch La Liga any more.

Probably, but that'll hardly get the confidence of the other clubs who have had to sell players to register.  Tebas relies on the other clubs in order to stay in his position and to get his poor economic ideas voted in because he doesn't have the support of either of the big 2 clubs

Not to defend Tebas, but there were 2 items that needed sorted out to register konde. The first was the financial issue and I don’t believe that is complete yet tho I may be wrong). The other was the squad size (limit of 25) and that was resolved with Umtiti departure.

I mean..... we lost out on a key target because they misinterpreted the documents. This is a scandal imo

Ramazani has had an impressive start to the season. Really really like what I've seen so far. Wonder why he left Man Utd. They could do with a player like him right about now

Sevilla with 2 losses and a draw to start the season. They really need to strengthen their team. Only a week to go and there are a few areas they need to strengthen in still

I don't think he left per se but more they got rid of him. Just like you, they could do with an actual striker at the moment.

Pedri's switches are so good. Love that pattern where the LCM switches the ball to the RW who has a 1v1 then puts a cross in.

We have Fati, Torres, Alba, Kessie, de Jong (???), Auba (???), Depay (???) and old guys like Pique and Pjanic on the bench big season for Xavi here and it’s time for him to show what he can do. No excuse at this point Laporta did what he needed and got us a great side and depth at this point.

Such a shame Lewandowski played so long in a league nobody watches.

From what I've seen him in La Liga so far, he is one of the most intelligent strikers I've had the pleasure to watch. He positions himself so well not only to get into goalscoring opportunities but also to make space for others. And he's technically excellent.

I would also say that physically, he is so extraordinary

For a 34 year old, yeah, 100%. Hope he can stay injury-free. Only downside was the transfer fee you paid Bayern otherwise assuming you were linked with Haaland, Lewandowski is not only a better player than Haaland but also more suited to your game.

Glad to see Valladolid back in La Liga, but they have a lot of work to do if they want to stay in Primera.

reckon Almeria stay up if they can keep hold of Ramazani and Umar Saddiq. Think Elche, Valladolid and Cadiz may go down

I think it is too early to tell but yeah I fancy Almería staying up. Maybe Girona down instead of Elche?

Glad someone has seen the light.

He is one of the best CFs of all time.

Ever since he came to Barça he has trained the hardest and has shown no signs of physical decline especially given his style does not develop a lot of wear and tear.

4 goals in 3 games now. Mf has 550 goals to his name. Undisputed.
