Yeah, I agree completely. I believe his play is what’s behind Flo’s decision to try to have Haaland delay transfer. Simply put, Benz has to lead / mentor this team next season.

My only concern is that signing Haaland may end our summer activity. we need fullbacks and a midfielder.

We have the best GK and two very good CB's. but RB and LB are behind. even when Mendy and Carvajal are fit they don't play good enough. Mendy is just good at defending. zero attack. and Carvajal is below average at everything nowdays.

Imagine if we had fullbacks like Davis or Cancelo or Arnold. creativity would level up huuuge.

As opposed to many years ago, we can actually afford to lose this clasico. Sevilla would still be 7 points behind if we did.

Benzema should take this opportunity to rest because Carlo would never bench one of his starters unless they got injured or drop in fumes.

It could be an opportunity to give both Bale and Hazard some game time. After all this Clasico means nothing. i would play a front line of Vini, Bale, Hazard (giving Vini some experimental time on right).

Some players need to be rotated at this stage tbh. As long as we have a comfortable cushion at the top, Carlo should rest his key players for the CL.

Vini for instance needs some rest. Hazard and Bale should play instead in the Clasico.

Some games are more than just their effect on the table. Clasico must not be taken lightly. we lose this game everyone in Spain will say Barca has become better than Madrid under Xavi. we know it's not true but it will have it's effects.

Getting the Clasico win just became so much more important now. Sevilla still have to play against Barca and Barca will be so far behind they will never be able to overtake us. We have many old players who need to be rested before the CL ties

I agree with Halas line up I think that's what will happen. I doubt Carlo has any hope in Jovic Bale or Hazard. If we're losing then one of them might come on but I doubt it

Anyway this clasico isn't important in the title race but purely for morale. I doubt a loss here will hurt us mentally as hala said. We lost the home clasico in 2017 and still came out La Liga and UCL champsb

Well I said before this season this team can't compete in CL. I'm happy with the liga win and eliminating PSG. Next year mbappe will help our offense immensely (vini will take a back seat and go on the right).

Other areas need to be covered. No more KCM and decent backup fullbacks

I think we and Carlo got lucky that it's a very down year in La Liga in terms of quality.  Full credit that we took advantage of it.  But this team literally wouldn't even have sniffed winning La Liga in any of the previous 15 years.

I'm a bit concerned that Barca is headed in the right direction so quickly. Missing Benzema and Mendy doesn't help... but this is too much of a fall off.

KCMs writing on the wall was last seasons elimination against Chelsea. I really dunno why Perez and Carlos insistence on that midfield. Barca already moved on to younger and hungrier players and were still relying on Kroos and Modric. Cama and Fede need to be starters. Same applies to Carvajal. We all seen just how much he's fallen off due to injuries, but the club doesn't make the change.

The changes are there. We are just reluctant to pull the trigger
