I think PSG is leaking they want us to up our bid whereas we are leaking that we can't make this happen on deadline day. So I assume we'll know for sure just before Mbappe leaves for international duty.

It's up to PSG, do they want an unhappy player messing up their dressing room harmony or do they want him gone asap

Personally I am in no rush for the club to sign Mbappe. This isn't desperation on our part. It's as simple as signing a franchise player for the next decade who has repeatedly told his current club that he wants to join no matter what, either this summer or the next.

If PSG force Mbappe to stay they will only make it worse on themselves and Mbappe. They will turn their ultras and the media against him in a heartbeat to show everyone it's not their fault Mbappe wants to leave.

We really shouldn't offer more money. 180m is way too generous.

I tend to agree, but the offer if accepted instantly makes us contenders for this season let alone for future years. If offer isn’t accepted, then Flo gets his signature Jan 1st. PSG at this point can’t do anything about it, it’s a take it or leave proposal. The offer by Perez allows them to save face and keeps the clubs relationship professional, except for Leonardo! Shrewd move by Perez. PSG demand for 200 is them not recognizing covid marketplace, a market they alone are responsible for escalating costs.

The other advantage to getting him for this season is it helps in the bid for Haaland next season.

This Madrid looks like a middle table team.  But to be fair, so does the rest of La Liga.... so there is a chance.

When you replace Kroos and Modric with Isco and Valverde... you lose the middle of the park. Isco is fairly useless while Valverde, while good, is not in the class of Modric obviously. It doesn't help that Carvajal and Gutierrez aren't the best fullbacks in the world either.

There are opportunities... but nobody to make that good final pass. It all feels overly rushed or a step too late.

Vini looks good on the positive side. I'm not sure what to think about Bale tbh lol.

This CB pairing gave me heart attack. Wtf is wrong with them, no communications between eachother at all

And lastly how in the lords name is Fekir still playing for Betis. That guy should br playing for Sevilla at the very least

Fekir has the build of someone that can't run but he's deceptively quick and agile. Really think he belongs to a team that is in the CL for the very least.

All in all, 3 points is 3 points and I am happy we got it. Maybe Carlo would give Rodrygo more playing time as he saw Bale is basically a pole disguised as a human being.

Problem with Fekir is that he shows up in terms of effort for maybe 5 games a season. He is a very poor professional.

A shame because he has all the talent in the world.

Hazard looked good when be came on. Played as an attacking middle. Free role.

great offensive game, vinicius' trickery was too much for that defense. guy needs to start for sure imo, that whole he plays well when peoples legs are tired thing isnt holding water. he contributes more than just pass and move
