I’m actually gonna give some critique of Ronaldo.. he needs to be more aggressive and play with his body. He isn’t physically weak but he shies out of 50/50’s so he doesn’t get injured. I get it, but that’s just not good enough. He has the touch and technique contrary to what people say but he is a huge pussy with aggressive forward/CF play. Win the foul and draw the contact, but you can’t shy away from it in this league

To be fair to him, he's actually done some defensive pressing in the last few matches. How often did we see him do that at Real Madrid? I remember him being all over the place in his one-man-army performance in the return leg against Wolfsburg in the CL several years back, but generally speaking, he's never played with that level of intensity with any level of regularity. It's bound to tire him out, physically.

It's very possible as long as the rest of the team is capable of playing a style of football that isn't reliant on team pressing.

If you have enough overall quality on the team, you can get away with a lot of things, like your manager being in hospital for cancer treatment Laughing

I don't remember how long Tito Vilanova was away for, but I still can't get over how well that Barca team performed without a manager. They never seemed to get any credit for it.
