Berardi and Insigne are Second Strikers from my understanding. Well defo Berardi but Italy have no real AM right now. No Luis Alberto equivalent atm.

Anyway  Donnarumma gives me undescrivable tranquillity, I believe it's due to habit to have Handanovic as GK for years

Curious question but does Italy have any promising CBS? Chiellini and Bonucci can't last longer despite their experience

i still think for Italy spain are like achilles heel...
if they play this relentless possession football ...

this has always put italy off... because they want to play like that not oopponent play their game ..

Man, I can't get over how STUPID it is to rejig the shape of your defense in a match. A defense builds confidence and chemistry as the match goes on, and every coach should realize they shouldn't touch the shape unless for injury.

He declined rapidly. Not sure if he is going to get back in shape.

Bastoni ( one of Inter starters this year , great season and not just for Scudetto )

But we should see him on a 4 defence system , he' s perfect for 3 defence system and so far he 's played only in that system

Since the goal, Spain has been much better. Italy basically shot themselves in the foot with their stupid substitutions.

Nightmare stuff.

i would say even both bastoni and mancini would be better partner in the future.

ok roma didnt play welll but mancini had been more or less there..

in fact he was soooo crazy good as CDM when roma had serious injuries...

Damn I was not expecting that. I was certain he would be the next to follow up on the present 2 CBs.

I believe when you lead by narrow score such as 1-0 your substititions must be reactive to your opponents sub.

Unless Emerson was injured Mancini screwed his team's momentum with bad tactics

not even Milan fans rate him anymore ( in fact h'e s a bencher now ) , he was average at max imo but he's even declined now

Romagnoli is alright if the defense is deep and in addition he needs extra protection from someone in front of him.

the moment the defense goes higher up... romagnoli is done he has become easy target unfortunately

Why the fuck did we sub Toloi in.

Frankly, we deserve to lose on the back of this stupidity.

BTW, Donarumma has been extremely nervy this match. Other than a good reaction save, this is actually one of his worst matches.

To the surprise of absolutely no premier league fans, Jorginho found out in a high intensity match... he is truly xhaka-lite

Italy have historically gotten themselves out of games like these but lets see what happens.

he has fallen off cliff.
but also atm milan has 4-2-3-1 with double pivot midfield and playing high line ... so if they get caught on counter romagnoli doesnt do anything and just watch the fW score
