In an act of pure defiance to Robes, Handa had an amazing game last night

Ramsey is injured, but also not a starter. He is benched by McKennie. Arthur is great tbh

Juve with a second goal (own goal by nonother than the awful Ibanez).

Cuadrado made the difference there (came in 2 minutes ago), releasing Kuluveski on the right.

Before that, Roma was controlling, but they didn't have any dangerous chance. Now, it will be impossible for them to climb back.

Seems Pirlo's dropped his 'thesis' for good and switched to classic Italian tactics. Good to see.

Our foundation should always start from the back.

The defensive block was solid

Efficiency of the transition defense --> offense can be improved but that was a good effort today

No, he did it because, with Rabiot and Arthur, Roma would have killed us with the transitions

My take on today's loss: It continues the trend we've seen this year in that Fonseca just can't seem to pull out a win against the top sides. He's going to need to be perfect against everyone outside the top 6 to maintain a mathematical chance at us making it to the CL. Given Lazio, Napoli and Atalanta all have wins over us this season, it doesn't look good for him.

We're not a CL-level team though. We're EL-level and that will not be enough to save him.

That said, this was probably a better performance against a top side than the ones seen so far. Just got undone by 2 bad mistakes and, as is the case, couldn't take any of the few chances Juve allowed us.

Its a bit strange with Fonseca and Roma.

Yesterday Roma started, for different reasons, without Dzeko, Zaniolo, and Pellegrini. 3 players that would make a huge difference. Yet I still don't think Roma would have won at full strength.

For as good as the team can play they really don't inspire confidence in big games.

Balanced game so far between Milan and Crotone. It doesn't feel like playing against a relegation team with the way they attack with purpose.

It is telling that the first time (other than the offside goal) that Rebic and Leao played in Ibra's wavelength we managed to score. Those two are really inconsistent.

Also, Meita is useless most of the time. He is like a weaker, slower, less aggressive, less technical Kessie. Also, I have no idea what Saladmaker does for the team half of the time, but it used to work. It is obviously not working this match, and he should be subbed before he gets a second yellow.

Ibrahimovic scores a second goal after some great work from Theo, and then Rebic scores two in rapid-fire. It is turning into a rout after a pretty respectable performance from Crotone before the 2nd goal.

Crontone reminds me of Norwich of last season. They play really nice, but they can be easily bullied into submission, and they don't have the ability to come back from adversity.

Ibra could have scored 2 more goals in this time (with one ambitious long shot that would have been in if it was in target).

BTW, it is hilarious how the director always manages to squeeze in a shot of D. Maldini celebrating whenever we score a game.

At this stage, he is more of a mascot than an actual squad player.

Keep dreaming, Inter won't sell him if they know whats good for them, they can easily value him 70m+ after getting him for 40+, and Juve's biggest signing is CR at around that figure.

That comment was more about his role under Conte rather than him looling up to Marchisio, i mean, what Italian talent looks up to Marchisio of all people Laughing

Most of them? he is really well liked.

Of course I don't expect Inter to sell him, particularly not to us. The only reason he would leave any time soon if he is a casualty of Inter's ownership collapse. It likely won't be him that gets sold though.

I don't see any chance of Barella at Juve, he had no interest in joining from Cagliari

I respect his choice. Incredible player and exactly what we needed over the past couple seasons but haven't acquired

More of his role and level evoking comparisons. Marchisio complimented him so journalists brought it up. Wouldn't be surprised if he stays at Inter forever, assuming Inter's ownership doesn't collapse
