No, our biggest problem is Pirlo but Szczesny has been pathetic this season. Signing Donnarumma on a free is a huge upgrade, this match is a sliding door.

There are so many weak spots in the team that needs urgent addressing before the GK. There are so many players and staff for that matter I would replace in the team before the GK. Donnarumma would've been a huge expense even if he's free purely because we're dealing with Raiola. It would've also exemplified how poor we have been on the transfer market lately, prioritizing signing a GK over pressing needs.

But it doesn't matter as we are broke af now with no CL.

Agreed. Midfield has been by far the biggest problem for good 3-4 years now. As I've said, we have prioritized making fancy, flashy signings over building a well rounded team. Arthur, Rabiot, Ramsey, Bentancur, Mckennie, none of these players are good enough for a club of this level. Don't know how anyone can deny this tbh.

This is true but at the moment we aren't talking about competing for the scudetto. We are talking about missing out on CL. This team, these midfielders, are absolutely good enough to qualify for CL, as we have seen for the past 2 seasons.

2020 Sarri or 2019 Allegri would have qualified this team to CL without a doubt.

True, I mean the Tuchel appointment has shown the effect an elite level coach can have on a team right away even if you think the quality is dire. Those guys would do better than what Pirlo did and Juve have a team better than competing for EL.

At the same time though your management has prioritized flashy signings over functional ones. The midfield represents the team as they're respnsible for the middle of the pitch. So they give the team an identity.

Your midfielders have no stand out attribute. At least before Pjanic was a good distributor. Like I said you have average joes there.

Then again you guys were on top for a decade which is impressive in of itself and there was always gonna be a downturn. I guess no one expected that level of decline but most top clubs are poorly run. Is it any surprise almost all of them devolve to a banter team when they do bad?

Allegri actually made Juve a perennial CL contender with Khedira/Matuidi/Emre Can/Sturaro playing key minutes throughout all of his tenure He's the only man that can save Juve.

You have an aging core of players, CR included, and have been relying on the heroics of a few players all season to produce something (Chiesa, Mckennie, CR)

Its clear there needs to be a restructuring the defensive department as a whole, Bonucci, Danilo, Demiral, Cuadrado, Chiellini and Alex Sandro. Either, they aren't good enough, or they are showing shades of age.

The midfield: Once a rock in Juve's title-winning seasons, you went from Marchisio. Vidal, Pirlo, to Pogba, Pirlo and Vidal, to Pjanic, Matuidi and co....to..whatever the hell this is. I'm actually shocked that Juve has let it come to this, Rabiot and Bentancur, for real?

Offense: No idea whats happening here, disjointed group of players that don't have an understanding of each other. We'll see if CR bounces this summer.

Kind of strange people are acting like its a foregone conclusion Napoli are gonna make it. They have every chance of screwing up. So do we tbh.

The biggest disasterclass for Juve yesterday was repredented from losing for .. 0-3.
It was hard to disallow the advantage on H2H but Pirlo was able in it. Juve to attack desperately on last minutes for losing just 1-3. Insane scenes.
Basically it is as if Milan got 4 points yesterday.
Yeah Napoli are not reliable, just bottled it against Cagliari recently , but well, Juve are not master of own fate when just 3 matches miss.and they will have to face Sassuolo and Juve
