3-3 courtesy Laca. Absolutely deserved by Arsenal, they have been a different team in second half. Can actually see them going out for win here.

Ceballos had a couple good games, but not like this. It's also very visible that Ceballos is a much more limited and flawed player than Oedegaard

lol Ceballos had 2 assists in his full home debut, and since then has been ass. He isn't close to Odegaard's level

Did I miss something? I still think Ceballos is Arsenals best midfield player. But I haven't really watched Arsenal after the first 14 games of the season.

Odegaard Reminds me of a young KdB not as good of a crosser tho.

Better ode performs the more it means he is returning to rm, but if arsenal put in a cheeky 120 mil bid sure why not keep the lad.

Haven't seen him at Arsenal. What is his issue? bad attitude or simply not good enough?

I still remember his outrageous Euro U21 performances the summer before Madrid signed him that had Hans and I hyped.

He seemed crazy good.
Turns out though, we were deceived, the tricks he showed there, turns out they are all he has in his arsenal and he repeats them mechanically.
And so the spectacular side of his game, which is definitively still on display, is much more brutish than expected.

He's not bad, not at all, but he seems strangely inflexible in his way of playing that is somewhat egocentric (not egoistic mind you, but he receives the ball and then it's like 'right! now I have the ball, now let's see, what can I do.. I'll run a bit with it and try to make something happen'). If I had to speculate, I'd say maybe this can happen if a player is head and shoulders above his peers in kid and youth teams, and he's always the one whom they give the ball to, and then he can't move away from that, towards a better understanding of himself being just a part of team mechanics.

Would still massively improve Jjuve's midfield.

Not to laud myself, I find the comparison strikingly good.

Wilshere got absolutely destroyed by injuries.

My opinion from watching Ceballos from the last few years is that he’s another 10 who is struggling to adapt to the modern game. He plays much better further up the pitch but with the freedom of a 10 (this was his role at betis). He’s too reckless with the ball in deep areas and his passing is too erratic to play there (the six position) and he’s not athletic enough to be a true 8. Also, there is always some sort of attitude involved, and from what I’ve seen and heard he doesn’t have the best attitude, particularly with Zizou
