Wonder of Man C should start getting more confident and fans get more excited about their CL chances this season? Their players are at their peak, and a lot of them in terms of age and years at the club cant help but feel this really could be the one year for them to have a chance? They have always been one of the favourites, but this season especially since a lot of the other teams are in weaker shape than usual in general, so will we finally see Pep fulfill his task of winning it with Man C?

Or the PL has been just too average this season, and just making Man C stand out atm? Razz

City has been favorites since pep has coached there and we all know how that story ends

There was more contact for the "non penalty" than there was for the Wolves penalty a few weeks ago. Do the referees only consult the VAR screen if they can be fecked to jog the 50 yards to the machine?

VAR caught west brom's striker shoving Lindelöf away via his face, to ensure that he had an easy header at goal. I suppose a lot of people on here would just wave it off as karma, but these things happen. VAR seems pretty useless, to me. On-pitch referees are reluctant to use it, so as it stands, it's basically just expensive equipment that's hardly ever used outside of surgical, off-side measurements.

I don't get the inside joke, but it's worth pointing out that he hasn't had the greatest of defenders to work with Razz

Dortmund and PSG may be great teams in each their respect, but it's certainly not because of their defensive prowess.

Unique used to go around proclaiming (for no discernible reason or based on no discernible evidence other than what I assume is some prejudice) that Tuchel was this coach whose teams ship goals over goals and who can't set them up defenisvely

Meanwhile, the only reason he hasn't overseen all clean sheets so far is that Rüdiger decided to score an unforced freak own goal once
