Re: Manchester United Part V / ETH Sack Watch
1 first team injury away from 8th being a good finish lol
kept saying but it was so dumb to spend everything reinforcing the defense
I'd have much rather kept Smalling - Lindelof and spent that 80M on a midfielder. Ah well. Ole's days are numbered.

350k a week and 4+1 years contract. Content with it. Eventhough his recent form has taken some sheen out of the joy we should be feeling right now. Atleast now those idiots wont waste one full month trying to sign a replacement and we will get time to pursue more pressing issues come summer window.

Think it's pretty evident he's just not up to the job
Needs to be fired and Allegri to be hired, end of story.
Thankfully the club board is too stupid to apply this easy solution

Agreed. Only a matter of time though, I give it until December. Can see Allegri happening so long as he's promised signings. Should get him in January so he can spend the Lukaku money too.

Allegri is a top manager no doubt but he is not the man for United, in this condition.

And surely he doesn't take Manchester United in the middle of the season, he 's said to take a sabbatical year and he want to respect it

Do you think he would decline an offer from Man United in, say, December?

in December 100%
Not just because of sabbatical year but it is not even convenient during the season .. difficult situation , new league etc
But he 'd accept for new season 2020-2021

Re: Manchester United Part V / ETH Sack Watch
Allegri most definitely won't take it as he has been gearing for the aforementioned sabbatical for over two seasons now and has needed one.
Taking this United at the moment given he is a coach who would need time for his tactics to settle, would be unwise from United and Max himself.

Reign nearing the end. Probably sacked after Liverpool game. Wont make it past November for sure.

Maybe he'll get sacked, maybe he won't, but there's not a manager on the planet who would do well with this United squad.

Not sure whether I would prefer Mourinho to come back so that I can witness the drama unfold once again, or if it would be better with a more offensive-minded manager so that I can actually keep myself awake for these matches.

Re: Manchester United Part V / ETH Sack Watch
^ Can't even argue it. Any manager in the PL would do better than 4 wins in the last 20 or w/e Ole's at. I'm split on letting him stay until the end of the season then him stepping down or sacking him asap, I don't think we get a decent replacement in if we sack him rn.
SAw this on ratcafe, Ole's career as a manager, spooky

Re: Manchester United Part V / ETH Sack Watch
How the fuck do you have a transfer window like that and expect anything else?
I think pretty much everyone knew how this was gonna turn out.
Firenze doesn't even post lineups, shit is that bad.

They actually lost against West Ham last season under Mourinho. I don't know why it's being made out to be so much more, this time around. It's not like Maguire and AWB took them from mediocrity to becoming West Ham's worst nightmare I'd be more worried about Rashford's injury and their lack of depth, but clearly part of GL seem to think that coaches not only have the absolute authority to decide whether there's any depth in the squad or not, but that they also prefer not to have it

They're not saying this at all lmao. Not matter how much of an "lip reading expert" the Daily Mail employs
There's a version of this in widescreen (not this cropped phone video edit) where you can clearly see Woodward is responding to a lady sitting behind him to the left, he's not talking to Phil Jones at all.
Jones is probably complaining about a corner not being given or so

I think you're expecting too much from Firenze, Hans
That said, according to reports - Manchester United have contacted PSG about Thomas Tuchel.

Rashford's injury tbh is a blessing right now. The lad's going through the worst dip in form in his whole career. Has been absolutely pathetic recently. Will let Martial and Greenwood stake claim to that spot.
