I am 100% sure he won't be sacked tomorrow or in the near future, the board has 100% faith in Ole and they will chalk this up to an anomaly according to trusted sources

Zidane would be crazy to take over this team. He should wait for the France job or when we inevitably hit rock bottom. Conte would be a good short term option

No other manager in football history has gotten a 3 year extension at a club of this size for doing so little. I somehow doubt they'll pull the trigger all of a sudden. Especially given the fact that they're just 3 pts off 4th.

Conte knows Pogba isn't a double pivot, he mostly used him as LCM or an auxillary LM during his years in Juve.

Not Sure where Sancho, Rashford and Greenwood would fit in this formation.

One thing's for sure is that Conte will demand an exorbitant investment in players if he is ever going to come. Double pivot, CB, RM, etc these are all positions i foresee United going to the market for.

Rashford will never be sold unless he dies and Melisandre revives him, his off the field work protects him in that regard. Selling him would be villainous in the public eye considering what he has done so far.

Greenwood is a name i expect i would see in a QPR lineup in the coming years.

Greenwood actually is. He has more potential than Rashford. Just needs a coach.

One thing that mislead many United fans was the signings. they thought Signing Varane Sancho and Ronaldo made them a title contender but in reality it has hurt them more imo.

because these 3 are not what they thought. Ronaldo is past his best, Varane is past his best ( although still better CB than what they have ) and Sancho it seems needs a team built around him lol.

If i'm Ole i'd play Ronaldo with another striker. play him towards the left and ask him to do a little more. run with ball etc...and sub him of at 60th minute. and for his lack of Pressing do what Zidane did. when losing the ball ask the striker to drop deeper into midfield and midfielders to shift a little.

tbf I'd say 90% of the United fanbase knew we needed a defensive CM over the summer. Redcafe was crying out for one. Nobody knew what to expect from Sancho. Varane is better than what we have, so no complaints there. Ronaldo throwing the team shape outta whack. but still clutch and the only one showing any passion and desire along with Bruno tbh.

60 year old Matic. Fred, Mctominay, Pogba and Donny who Ole seems to think isnt even worth subbing on ever lmao. It's pretty tragic.

I don't even know what our best lineup is, I know that sacking Ole wont solve it though, but it needs to happen so we can get some fresh ideas in. He's all outta 'em.

The Ronaldo signing was completely unnecessary and imo this will be one of the reasons for Ole's eventual downfall.

It went completely against what Ole was 'building' for United even if the work he's done at the club is hardly impressive. This Galactico approach is what failed us in the past couple of years.

Some players at Juve started to develop a beta syndrome when being around Ronaldo. The same thing is happening at United now. Just take a look at Bruno Calhanoglu. All of a sudden looks like an utter trash player.

This is the problem with having these larger than life, superstar players especially someone who's as big and relevant like Ronaldo. Unfortunately, they're not at that age now where you can accommodate the entire team to cater to them. I'm glad we moved on from this.

CR isn't the problem here.

Wan Bissaka, Maguire, Varane being injured and Shaw with Fred/McTominay as cover.

That is really poor defensively.  Wan Bissaka and Maguire have really regressed this year.  Shaw has always been poor defensively in terms of positioning.  Varane... can't stay healthy.

You can't attack when you can't defend unless you just throw caution to the wind and attack without conscience... which won't win you trophies.

Solskjaer deserves to stay for the rest of the season at least

rushed decisions based on 1 game are never good governance
