For OM, Saliba was very good. Payet poor. Ghendouzzi was fairly good. Rest of the team average.

I expected more from OM after the red.

Nice is better than OM imo.  Monaco too as they're picking up form.

0-0 FT victory for PSG after ref tried to decide the game. Fell for the dived red, and then didn't rectify it when Neymar got face punched. Refs are now obviously directed to clear the point gap of PSG. Messi MoM by far, insane passing all game.

Honestly, Marseille not getting the winning goal late on is good considering the fans would have probably destroyed way too much public property.

That being said, while Sampaoli wanted the win, the players were definitely too scared of a swift counter from PSG which sucks, the win was there.

Highlight of game: Payet turning Messi. Slowly.

Oh just to add: Messi 6.5; Guendouzi 7. The great man was a passenger in this match, no lie.

Ligue 1 holding Messi to no goals and no assists in 4 games is interesting to say the least...  it's an athletic and physical league.  You can't walk.  They won't allow you to get the ball without a fight or allow you to dribble through everyone.  You will get kicked.  It's a league where movement without the ball is the key to success.  

From every objective standpoint, Messi has been underwhelming so far to say the least.

That said, reserve judgement until the 2nd half of the season.  That will be the telling time for him.

Highlight of the game was Marseille fans joining defending Messi counter and players being protected by riot shields when taking corners. Worst run league in the world.



Quality of Lique isn't any harder than Liga. Once Messi is tactically used correctly he will tore frenchies a new one. Now he's hugging sidelines most of the game doing nothing as PSG tries to play through Fatmar.
