It sucks that he was there only for the downward spiral enabled by Paratici. Had 3 coaches in 3 seasons, barely won any trophies and the team was not high level. As you can see not really a good environment to blossom although De Ligt himself did the job in defense. His leadership precocity which was one of his main assets at Ajax he could not really display it here. In the end his Juve legacy is lower than a guy like Caceres.

Still a good defender, he is not perfect, not the most agressive tackler. But i think he has a bright future ahead of him, maybe we signed him too soon, anyways that was worth a try. Back then he was the top CB prospect in the world.

Only positive about selling him is that while be is very good, he is also very overpaid. Raiola squeezed all he could to get him a massive contract. So at least there is money to reinvest in the squad where it's needed.

Bremer reportedly will earn about half of De Light and he probably won't be any worse. I guess the rest of his budget will be spent on Zaniolo.

The forward "rotation" is very short we have Vlahovic and Kean as strikers, then Di Maria and Chiesa as wingers, the latter not ready to play in august. There's still Cuadrado who can be used RW and everywhere on the right flank.

I think the next player we need is Memphis Depay

Discussions for Zaniolo stalled which is probably a good thing. We can sign him in a few years if his career goes back to normal. Currently we are after Firmino (and Morata) and Paredes in midfield, Milenkovic in defense have been targets for a while.

I'm still shocked that Sandro is going to be the starting LB going into the season, now thats an Allegri moment right there. Danilo and Sandro, two dire offensive fullbacks starting, 2 DMs in Rabiot and Locatelli, that shit takes me back.

I don't see Allegri lasting the season if things turned out the same as last year.

We overpaid like 10m for Locatelli and we pay this transfer in instalments so i don't see a big scandal here. I did not like his utilization in a regista role where he's basically invisible instead this guy should play closer to goal.

I don't share the general disgust on Alex Sandro he's a serviceable player, he's not attacking anymore but we know he can cover a lot of ground. On the right the starter should be Cuadrado old but gold. Danilo can play every position in defense. Full backs not a priority for this year imo
