Why is Bielsa regarded as the best strategic tactician in football? he is so highly rated for that everywhere, but why?
Also, if he is that brilliant, why has he not been very successful? at least in the past 10 yrs...
is it that he is unlucky or what?
I think it's more of his influence.
Here's a video worth watching on him.

We were very rusty and still gelling as a team. We're going to be formidable once we get rolling.
I already alluded to this above. But hey, this is GL and you've been around long enough to know that people will knee-jerk anyway
Apparently, Werner has a dead leg and might not start the next match.
Nah I think Werner will start. He'll want to prove that Liverpool should have bought him.
Puli will probably miss it. Ziyech may be back and Kovacic will be back, so I think we'll be better than against Brighton.
Tbh I'm glad we're playing you away at the start.

I'm not, I'd rather play you lot in late October once we've settled a bit.

If you saw Pool play Leeds, you'd've seen how unsettled they themsleves are

No point judging Chelsea this early and without key players tf.
And Havertz looked terrible. Not that it says anything bjt any big occasion for him he seems to be anonymous brits a great defence or a huge moment. I am sure he will improve once he adapts. Werner looked promising though

Yep. They look so out of sync with each other. Looks like they will take some time to settle. Now was the best time to play Chelsea. Good for you guys. Would fancy a Pool win.

Re: 2020/21 Premier League Discussion
lmao what a melt down
Gibbs letting his team down massively
then Bilic is idiot enough to get himself sent off
absolutely unacceptable stuff from Gibbs, clear red, if I was his manager I'd throw him out for a while

although over the last few years I've often looked at Everton and thought they should achieve more
but you can't deny they look decent on paper, I think they'll be competitive with arsenal and spurs at least

Re: 2020/21 Premier League Discussion
I've been trying to watch Leeds for the past hour but in the US they force you to stream it via peacock, which keeps crashing on me
I don't understand why the US can't get it's shit together. Even when I'm willing to pay I can't get access to this.
Anyways 4-2, seems like penalties will be the bane of Leeds' season

Wrong thinking
Paco Jemez logic >>> "defense first!", in terms of avoiding relegation
let's not forget that 2 wins and 3 losses in 5 games is better than 5 draws
