That Salah penalty really saved my sorry ass, was set for a massive red arrow before that.

Re: GL Fantasy Football 20/21
meh still getting an L vs Nishank
played my wildcard two weeks back and still i want to make 4 changes every week
Nuno Espirito is Satan for not playing wingbacks anymore and for dropping his defenders like flies, first it was Vinagre moving away, then Saiss, now Kilman kill me now

I'm just going to keep Aubameyang

Do you realize you're losing value by keeping him?

I've already lost it. And there's no value in the market anyway.

Reminds me of when I bought JetBlue stock, I kept it for years at a loss hoping to break even, then I finally did, the pandemic hit and airline stocks took a literally 50% cut

Difference to Jet Blue or any other stock is that I like Aubameyang, and also I'm not losing actual money. That's why I'm going to keep him.
And there are no convincing alternatives, really. Havertz, James? Flops.
And don't come to me with Grealish or such, I only sign midfielders with Bundesliga or similar (Swiss, Austria, Dutch) experience.
Yes, I'd free money for a more expensive striker, but who? Calvert-Lewin, who went on a veritable scoring spree after I badmouthed him, will not score at a similar rate going forward. Ings, Southampton have become less reliant on him. Werner, Abraham, flops. Jesus? Will be benched by Pep the moment I buy him. Spurs players, I don't do Spurs players, sorry.
Don't think more money would significantly improve my all star striking duo of Bamford and Ollie Watkins.
So I'll just keep Auba in the hope he starts scoring again, which he will, and then his goals will give me LOTS OF POINTS
I just beat AVERAGE 43-42 too so I must be doing something right

Re: GL Fantasy Football 20/21
Stocks, maybe, FPL players? Auba is still hugely overvalued for his returns and his form doesn't look like it will improve any time soon
Bruh get out of here with your logic, it almost sounds like you're playing FPL to have fun and not to win
ps perhaps Vardy?

Re: GL Fantasy Football 20/21
Vardy yeah, I don't know.
It feels like in all these (3) years of participating in this I've never had Vardy and he was also scoring loads, if I get him now I think it would be his least prolific season since years and it would feel like a personal defeat, I have my pride. I'll just have stick to my guns, even if Vardy will probably get the golden boot.
Also, with Vardy, I feel insecure, because if I picture it, if I had to hang around with him, let alone man manage him, I don't know if I could deal with his intensity, he'd surely be making very good, part jovial, but also rather forward jokes at my expense while staring straight in my face, and I'd feel I could only come up with weak, unfunny, inadequate responses, and too slowly at that, and then there'd be the whole issue of wondering if saying the wrong thing would mean I'd get banged.
Not sure how he feels about Germans either.
Don't know man, I think I'm not going to get Vardy in my team, don't feel up to it.
I'll give Auba one more chance. Two more chances. If he doesn't score another goal for two games, he's out. Even if then, SURELY, he'd start scoring in the third game? Think I'm just going to keep him no matter what.

Without a doubt this is the hardest week for picking a captain, Salah, Kane, Bruno and Son could all haul this week.

Re: GL Fantasy Football 20/21
Soton has improved in recent weeks, well kind of.
I will say this though, they have a tendency to play a highline against top teams, if they do that against City they'll get ripped apart.

Re: GL Fantasy Football 20/21
Just found out Kane has scored 14 goals in 10 league games against Leicester, his best record against an opponent and the second best of anyone in Premier League history.
Well that settles it then.
