Anyway, I saw like 2(?) games of Kompany as a manager, seemed to me that he was a proponent of those new wave tactics Inzaghi and Alonso have prominently used recently, maybe Bayern want a piece of that after failing to get Alonso.

To be fair to him, he took over Burnley after they had just gotten relegated. Got them promoted to the PL only to get them relegated again. Championship seems like the level they’re at, talent-wise.

I have no clue how good or bad Kompany may be as a manager, but Burnley don’t look like they possess sufficient talent to be playing in the Premier League. They were bound to get relegated.

It is indeed hilarious, because Xavi said himself that he wouldn't continue and made things really uncomplicated for Laporta who then convinced Xavi to stay and sacked him 2 weeks later.
