What a difference a quality coach makes.
Kovac would have this team stumble over its own legs, unreal.

Strange, I thought he would win it in a landslide. He won the league and CL with Bayern, what more do they want?!

Re: Hansi Flick, FC Barcelona head coach
It's pretty ridiculous really, but he has no star power and is a low key person, while Klopp is a world famous TV personality, chatterbox and clown.
In terms of performance, it's clear that he was the best coach in 2020. Klopp's football was dire, a weak ass Atletico kicked them out and then they were responsible for the whole pandemic outbreak in the North West of England.

The bitterness is rather amusing.
Happy to see the best coach in the world yet again earn his prize.
Flick is a wonderful coach though no doubt about that.

Another example is Megan Rapinoe featuring in best XI of the year even though she hasn't played ONE match in 9 months.
Those awards are retarded in many cases.

Can we talk about how Neuer won Best GK award (deservedly) but Alisson was in the FIFPRO XI

Neuer has been the best GK in the world, based on what I've seen from him lately. I don't think anyone else comes close to him, right now. Even with Bayern's defense looking relatively shaky, he's been consistent.

These awards are a joke sometimes and clearly having all the deserving players a share of the prizes (pie) lol...

Lothar Matthäus to Sky Germany: "That was Hansi Flick's last Champions League game as coach of FC Bayern. He is first choice at the DFB to succeed Joachim Löw. He will accept the offer. in the summer." #FCBayern #DFB

Re: Hansi Flick, FC Barcelona head coach
Hansi Flick has decided to leave Bayern Münich! He won’t be the manager next season. Flick has just announced his official decision, also communicated to board and players. Nagelsmann will be the main target as new Bayern manager - not easy negotiation with RB Leipzig. #Bayern

Re: Hansi Flick, FC Barcelona head coach
So the main reason he's leaving is because he doesn't get along with the board (Hasan Salihamidzic). A major contention point was transfers. Flick wanted them to go on a spending spree with reinforcements. Not sure if the reports are true but he really wanted Havertz and Werner.
Thing is why would Bayern spend 200M on his wants during a pandemic when those players probably wouldn't be starting in big games. Lewa and Mueller still wouldve been first choice. Werner could play on the left but I imagine Flick would be starting Coman/Gnabry ahead of him there.
What do you think Hans? Was he expecting too much or did the board let him down?

I don't know.
It's both.
And he wants the Germany job.
Hard to take, this whole mess.
And hard to make full sense of it, in order to know what side to take.

Unbelievable, and a huge shame. Such a young successful coach and still with many years to come I would have thought Bayern can only go on to dominate with him... if he really leaves definitely an opening for other teams to catch up for once perhaps.

Not for Leipzig though as we'll be taking their manager, thank you

He can come to Madrid any day, the perfect type of modern coach we need, he would fit well at the club once Carlo leaves this summer after winning nothing
