Yeah, I looked it up after I saw that image. His inclusion is a good thing, at least. He's a great actor. That's the second main character in Far Cry who's appeared in Breaking Bad

Just keep the map as big as it is and make more diverse quests you fucktards, I love Far Cry games but repetitive missions are always a downer

Yeah, I like him. He may not have actually been in Breaking Bad, but he's part of that universe.

Finally got round to playing Resident Evil 7
Had to reset my sleeping pattern so I smashed through it from start to finish in 1 night just like the game happens over 1 night

Re: General Games Discussion
"Biggest map yet"
How has Ubisoft not realised that quantity of scale is not their problem in games but quality. Who the heck asked for more land to travel through more repetitive backgrounds with no interactivity.
This is the company that changed Spinter Cell from what it was to something like how it is now so no surprise.

The DLC are pretty good. Not A Hero was free I played it, sadly couldn't play Banned Footage.

Really good. I didn't get it at first despite being a Resi fan as I wasn't sure what direction they were going in but I get it now. Plenty of creepy moments which I love. That basement area was banter.
Re2 remake is GOAT tier though.

I did absolutely bomb from bit to bit because I was too tired to take little details in tbf lol

Ironically I accidentally purchased the season pass first as both were on offer so I'll smash the DLC
On a side note, I'm glad they changed the Chris character model from 7 back to a more familiar Chris for 8 because in size and appearance he was a totally different person in 7 ffs.

https://www.flightsimulator.com/product-description/
"We are excited to announce that Microsoft Flight Simulator is now available for Pre-Order on Windows 10 and Pre-Install with Xbox Game Pass for PC (beta). Available August 18, 2020, standard 70€, Deluxe 90€, Premium Deluxe 120€."
Those are some prices, but expected from a revolutionary game. Release will include ray-tracing, and they're starting to develop VR.

Looks dope.
Do you have a VR headset? I tried one with Project Cars 2 over the weekend and you cannot go back to non-VR racing after trying it. It felt great.

Re: General Games Discussion
I don't have VR, and yeah it's made for simulation games, as you don't suffer from the VR nausea in them. Don't know if I'll buy one before the nausea symptom has been fixed. Have to do my 32:9 49" monitor in the mean time, which is good for simulations too.

VR is fun, but the symptoms of nausea and discomfort is definitely a dealbreaker, for me. I played a few games in VR before I returned it to the dealer and got a refund. I kept the equipment and used it quite frequently for a month or so.
Some of the games didn't make me feel all that bad, and I even played the more static games without getting any symptoms, but Resident Evil and Skyrim made me feel so fucking awful.
It was during the last week of my vacation, and I had the house to myself. I tried to push myself through the discomfort by playing for more than two hours despite feeling increasing signs of nausea and cold sweat, hoping it would increase my resistance to the symptoms. It only resulted in a really weird headache in addition to the nausea, and I still regret doing it. I even feel a bit nauseous thinking back on it.
It may sound hysterical, but it gave me a headache that felt like I had a tumor in my brain or something - It was an intense pain in a very specific, isolated spot in my head. I've never experienced anything like it before or after.

Re: General Games Discussion
Jeez that sounds bad...from what I've learned some people are prone to the nausea related issues and some people aren't. I don't know which type I am because I haven't really spent that long with them. But it certainly is the biggest limiting factor for VR and if this technology is to become a standard, it needs to fix that quickly before it is dismissed as a gimmick.
Re: General Games Discussion
Yeah, I do hope they fix it in the not so distant future. I'm really positive about the VR technology, but there's absolutely no way I'm going to push myself through that discomfort again, and there's no point for me to buy it if I can only play 30 minutes at a time without feeling hungover.
I've also heard that some people are more prone to the nausea than others, but every single person I know who's spent some time playing in VR, have had the symptoms to some degree. I was a bit surprised when I read that Unique didn't have any substantial issues with it, but I'm guessing he didn't play it much.

I get you bro, motion sickness is a real bitch. i too have serious problems with first-person games, fucking hate myself for not being able to finish Bioshock Infinite because of it.
