timo werner
looks like there is a big chance that timo werner is coming to liverpool. the guy has been saying klopp is the best manager in the world and liverpool are the best team in the world and said his style of play would fit in and klopp likes him and at £50mil is a player we can afford but does anyone think he can take the place of firmino?? i have not seen much of him tbh but his goal stats are great and as much as i love firmino i still think he needs to get more goals so could werner get the goals for liverpool but also give the other stuff firmino gives the team and if not would the extra goals be worth the trade off. hans will probs be the best person to talk to about it but im interested in what others think as well.

Re: timo werner
I'm still extremely perplexed as to why he'd join us with the front 3 absolutely nailed down. I'll hold my breath.
We sign Werner, he displaces Firmino and then we have problem. We have 3 forwards, with 2 not fulfilling their role as wingers since they are used to the striker dropping deep and creating. I'm scared.

Re: timo werner
but firmino wont last forever so we need to think in the long run. we need a forward that gets more goals tbh. salah goals to chances is great but mane not as good and firmino not even close to what we need. i think klopp could work his magic and get this guy to score the goals and also give us the work rate.

Re: timo werner
Is that because we have lost three of our last four games???
Don't get me wrong, we do need back-up attackers and since Klopp doesn't want to use Origi in his strongest position, someone new is essential. But Timo is long way off from being as influential as Mane, Salah, Firmino.
PS: let's have a transfer thread like other clubs.
