Man I've no clue for what Sarri aims for here with his Juventus. They had it going initially early-mid season but he came in for his football and certainly not his unremarkable career record and here we have none of it. It reminds me of Allegra's slow thoughtful style with Juve but at least his team had penetration, constantly made changes and had purpose.

This is just dire to watch and surprised Cristiano isn't ringing his head in with it. Dybala completely missing, on that note and that's fine given his fanboys/girls are more annoying than CR fans now.

The problem as always is the midfield, no movement, no urgency. Its redundant to play with Rabiot, Pjanic, Bentancur together.

Pjanic is out of form and just came back. Take him out, play Bentancur in the center and use a midfielder with actual movement on the right, like Bernardeschi or Ramsey.

Later take off Rabiot as well for Matuidi.

Pjanic should always be forgiven by default given he is an old school #10 and never was supposed to be just this but Rabiot can be so tentative and passive its obvious a Ramsey needs to come in if not Matudi.

Point being Sarri should see this and if changes be it tactical or squad are not made in HT I will bawdily laugh.

Till last 20 attempt at magic 1-2s that is nullified easily.

Lyon always were my favourite team in France and always will be and this atmosphere is just one reason why.

Baffling how Higuain just came on whilst a complete ghost in Dybala only receiving treatment.

Same for me too .

that's why they evoke me one of my first/golden football memories,   Uefa Cup 97-98, when Inter kncoked out Lyon after an epic round . 1-2 for Lyon at San Siro, 1-3 for Inter at Gerland. Gerland   I miss it And Lyon 98 kit was amazing.

As for the game Surag was right that Sarri should be sacked before its too late.

Lyon no doubt have been lucky but beautifully capitalizing on Juventus having de Ligt off temporarily but something needs to be done here. Trouble is, Sarri doesn't change a thing.

I still expect Juve to progress but jesus, imagine getting a gift in the worst Lyon side in decades and putting in a performance like this

Juve players try their favorite tactics in desperate moments : dives and encircling refs for asking penalties. But it is not Italy tbh.

Lyon have been very lucky but Juve only have themselves to blame for it with what is a gutless display and I forsee an upset back in Italy.

Anything less than 3-0 is Jube win in this tie.

Dybala should have received the penalty there.

Impressive by Juventus in the last 15 creating a multitude of chances but what prevented them from playing this dauntless earlier on? And its not like lyon are attempting to sit deep.
