Re: The Bundesliga Thread 19/20
poor Hernandez, joining Bayern just when Phonzie turns out to be the world's best left back
(contrary to the lineup above, Alaba remains at LCB while Hernandez is left back)
Hernandez with a horrible miss
and it looks like he injured himself again lol

Really lacking performance by Dortmund, so far. Little to no intensity, no creativity in the midfield, atrociously poor passing at times.

Bundesliga race is so boring and disappointing yet again. Bayern has just so ahead of everybody else still. The rest just gave up chasing, or they all got lazy during the pandemic But not Bayern, they must be aiming for the CL too.

Yeah, that’s why I didn’t bother to congratulate Hans. I’ll congratulate him on next season’s bundi trophy instead

So Dortmund extended Bürki‘s contract
They don‘t deserve good thing happening to them.

Uncharacteristically poor use of chances from Haaland in Dortmund’s first 25 minutes against Leipzig. It’s odd to see the latter without Werner.
I was wrong. Werner is playing

Re: The Bundesliga Thread 19/20
I may have criticised his relative ineffectiveness early in the first half, but Haaland looks super fit. Physically bullied Upamecano and generally caused Leipzig’s defense a ton of problems. Capped off a good performance with two goals. Reyna has looked really good as well, I can’t believe he’s only 17.
Werner watches from the stands as Leipzig drop points in his last performance for them. Thoroughly convincing win by Dortmund.

Bayern score 4 against Wolfsburg, while Dortmund concede 4 from (Kramaric!)Hoffenheim in the most lethargic and complacent performance I’ve seen in recent time.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread 19/20
So, Leverkusen bottled the CL last week which I don't like as it means Havertz will want to move this summer.
Rose doing a good job at Gladbach in his first season.
BVB embarrassing themselves at home on the last match day, with the Hoffenheim manager change seeming to have a positive impact as well.
Wagner's Schalke with another terrible performance, the club is done, no money, poor squad that is poorly motivated on top due to the club's corona handling, their CEO not only an outspoken racist and the Hitler of pigs, but also singlehandedly responsible for the single biggest Corona outbreak in post-lockdown Germany in his meat factory.
Werder Bremen saved themselves onto the relegation play-off spot by destroying a poor Köln and with the help of Union beating Fortuna.
The last MD of 2nd Bundesliga is happening right now, and if HSV don't blow it against Sandhausen (which of course they are prone to) and Heidenheim don't win away to league winners Bielefeld, there will be the epic North derby play-off of Bremen vs Hamburg ffs
the famous two Bundesliga dinosaurs battling it off who gets to be in the top flight, what a time to be alive
and between Rösler and Wagner, I think successful EFL Championship coaches are not suited to Bundesliga standards quite apparently
Farke will surely confirm this trend soon

Fun fact: Rösler actually lived in Norway for many, many years, has a Norwegian wife and two kids who live in Norway. He was a football pundit here for a while, and he would always reply in English to questions by the other commentators, who spoke Norwegian. I never heard him speak a word of Norwegian as a commentator. Would've thought he'd learn the language in those, what, 10-15 years he lived here
