Re: The Bundesliga Thread 19/20
In the Werder Death Watch game it is 0-0 at the half vs The Hoff. In the old days, this would end something like 5-4. If things remain a draw, Werder is tied for the play off relegation with Mainz.
Actually, at this stage, I would gladly take a home draw vs Hoff, which kinda tells you where Bremen are nowadays.

Terrible game for the future 2nd div champions, just terrible, not one player has the ability to control a ball, amazing how bad the first touch is from players like Sahin or Rashica.

Drama at #Bayern: Jerome Boateng smacked Leon Goretzka full in the face after the latter went in studs-up to settle a score. Apparently, Boa and Müller are none too happy with Goretzka: "Always the same shit with you!" @FCBayernEN @FCBayernUS https://t.co/5r9pnTvYiU

It's interesting what you've written on Piatek thread
I had never read about new Hertha investor
Who Is him exactly?
Curious to read more

So Hertha have money? New property ? @Hapless_Hans
Yes. They have a new investor who has bought 37.5 % of Hertha and might get 49.9% next season (maximum for an outside owner under the 50+1 rule).
He's a former 90s new economy bubble prodigy with numerous bankruptcies to his name, so this is going to be good.
For starters, they've hired Klinsmann, the biggest fraud and most ridiculous clown of world football, to be part of the board, only for then to fire their new coach and install Klinsmann as coach.
And all this in the year when Union have come up to stay, while Hertha is fighting relegation lol.

I assume Grottenkick is the same as tritt in den schritt? Nothing came up when I googled that word.

One of the worst games I have ever seen. Pathetic.
Not atypical for a night in the Olympiastadion though. 0-0. Not a single shot on target for the home team. Classic Hertha.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread 19/20
BVB is maybe coming back, couldnt really watch the game due to a terrible stream, but the man-child started and scored a couple. Meanwhile in Augsburg, future 2nd div champions Werder Bremen lose again.
If Red Bull fuck up against gladbach, they will become my new Pretenders.
The actual Pretenders lost too. Beginning to look like another Bayern title. But who cares,I am all about the 2nd div now.

The new Pretenders losing 2-0 without even a fight, at home no less. I dont know why they did not get Haaland instead of Dortmund, thought the Red Bull Empire worked that way.
Bayern top of the table, nothing to see here.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread 19/20
Stupid from Plea to get himself sent off like that. Will be his fault if RBL find their equalizer.
Embolo has looked good since coming on though and RBL have brought on Olmo for his debut as well.
Match has been a good one so far.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread 19/20
I guess it is good that they came back and got a draw, really did not see that coming based on the first half. Having said that, tey need to be better to win the title, good news is I think Dortmund are back in the race, they looked terrible before the break, but since they got the magic kid, they look a lot better. Bad news is Bayern look good since the break too.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread 19/20
Oh dear, if I was not so tired and sore from skiing in 30 cm of fresh powder yesterday (was actually a great day, due to the snow not a lot of people so no line up for the lifts, everyone was inside drinking or stayed at home), I would probably be kinda upset about the slow but sure demise of Werder Bremen.
The Pretender Derby up next, if the actual Pretenders win this, then the New Pretenders are out of the picture, in my mind. Apparently Haaland and the Forgotten One are starting. I have always though Can is a low skilled, but hard working, leader type of player. I get the feeling BVB need a leader, they have plenty of good, skilled players, maybe he actually might work for them?
In the Berlinliga title race, Union retake the lead and perhaps Klinsmann's Revenge was never an actual thing.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread 19/20
Leverkusen: Hradecky – L. Bender, Tah, S. Bender, Sinkgraven – Amiri, Tapsoba – Bellarabi, Havertz, Diaby – Volland
Dortmund: Bürki – Akanji, Hummels, Zagadou – Hakimi, Can, Witsel, Guerreiro – Brandt, Sancho – Haaland
Bank: Hitz - Dahoud, Götze, Schulz, Balerdi, Hazard, Piszczek, Schmelzer, Reyna
On paper, promising to be an exciting game
Brandt returns to Leverkusen, Bosz coaching against his former club, will Haaland continue his amazing scoring run, plenty of wonderkids in both teams on the pitch and on the bench

Re: The Bundesliga Thread 19/20
I didn’t realize both of the Benders play for Leverkusen now. Is «bank» a word you typically use to refer to the bench, or is that a German word for it?

Bank is the German word for bench, I just get confused because the words are the same for the financial institution (Bank = bank) so I keep making the mistake of using bank for bench too
oh and I copied it the sub lineup from BVBs German twitter so I didn't correct the word
