For what? He solves 0 issues with your team
you didn't need a B2B player. Wijnaldum is exactly that but much better.
You needed a creative midfielder who can unlock deep blocks.

Re: Bruno Fernandes Watch
we needed both thats why we did the deal for fekir. dont be fooled into thinking we pulled out of the deal over some knee problem. we pulled out of the deal because we had the chance to sign alisson and the owners would only buy one. the last time we had a player that could take players on. pass the ball score goals and defend with a great work rate his name was gerrard. you are judging the nabsta from what you have seen this season and hes been great in a few games but poor in others. if you look at clips of naby on top form he is a player any team would want.RealGunner wrote:Unique wrote:when he hits top form he is a great box to box MF player and the only one we have.RealGunner wrote:

Gundogan is apparently leaving, Silva is past it, and KDB is dealing with injuries.
I'm not surprised City wants him. Pep has a hard on for those kind of midfielders now.
I feel like the City-Spurs game showed how City is going to play next season. Bernardo hugging the touchline with KDB spamming crosses on the underlapping run. Then you'll have Sterling, Fernandes and Aguero attacking the box.
That seems like the way City is going to evolve. Gone are the days of Sterling and Sane spamming cutbacks.

Re: Bruno Fernandes Watch
Pretty unfair that after spending so much, Pep can just request another top player in the making
No doubt Pep fanboys will try to convince everyone that Pep made him a top player.

Came through the Man City youth team in Portugal tbh.
Pep has unhearthed another diamond like Busquets, what a genius.

See 45 mins of him in pre season and I am convinced he can be the world's best B2B CM soon. Absolute magician, presence all over the field with amazing work rate.

well, well, well
this should be an interesting thread going forward
hope he proves he isn't just a Portuguese league fraud
on paper he seems just what United need, I'm cautiously optimistic

55 mil + bonuses, could be worse. The bonuses consist of games played, winning the CL and leauge, Bruno winning balon dor so its safe to say they'll not pay more then 60m for the man

for real, I'm not mad at it even if he turns out to be meh
50M gets you Longstaff, 40M gets you Drinkwater etc, seems a fine price.

Erm... he's right ?
€55M is more or less £45M
Sporting can forget about that extra €5M since Man United will not be making CL next year.

Re: Bruno Fernandes Watch
read the bonuses are for things like him winning balon etc too
the kind you don't mind (and don't realistically see him getting) paying for if it happens
like I've said, all in all this doesn't seem a bad deal for us considering the cost of midfielders in general

Great signing for United but imho they still need a striker to make all of this fruitful. Lukayku should have stayed.

Erling Braut Haaland has scored more league goals than Manchester United in 2020 (5-4). Haaland has played 57 minutes. United have played 360.
— Richard Jolly (@RichJolly) January 24, 2020
You sold 31-year old, Fellaini for half of Haaland’s buyout clause. I like to think that Haaland turned Man United down, rather than United being cheap.
