That was a great first half. A lot of end to end action but I could have done without all the thuggery.

It was like watching Barcelona vs Madrid in the 4 classicos. Brazil tried playing football and Portugal turned up to play rugbyelitedam wrote:That was a great first half. A lot of end to end action but I could have done without all the thuggery.

Re: Pepe-Bruno Alves
The refs lately have been so abusive towards Neymar, any slight of contact he gives to a player is instant yellow
the yellow against Portugal was laughable and Pepe still had the nerve to get in his face and call him crazy.
I don't blame Neymar for complaining but respect that he isn't, especially with the abuse he gets from the fullbacks and CB's.

Re: Pepe-Bruno Alves
Neymar is a serial diver. I am happy there are guys out there reminding him this is a man sport and not ballerina. Look at Lewandowski when we played Dortmund. Ramos was having an elbow fest against him yet he got up, didn't complain one bit and got on with the game. thats a sign of a true man
I keep having this thought of Neymar trying to dive against Pepe (if Varane isn't back by then), Ramos and Arbeloa (if he starts) he should ask Villa, Alba and Alexis what was done to them when they tried to dive around these guys
he should fcking man up and play there are other weak players like him such as DiMaria and Ozil and co yet you don't see them fall at every contact and cry for sympathy. Messi gets kicked every game yet tries not to fall on th ground
neymar has a way to go if he wants people to stop perceiving him as a diver smfh

Re: Pepe-Bruno Alves
The thing that I thought that was weird was that Pepe shoved Neymar, Pepe runs into his own keeper and he starts arguing with Neymar, who keeps quiet the whole time, and yet its neymar who was booked? Ref wtf?

Re: Pepe-Bruno Alves
Both of them are fast declining, especially physically. And this is what happens, they cant read players like Neymar and know, foul is the only option.

Varane is expected back to normal training within the next 10 days... Pepe's days are numbered as a starting CB with Madrid anyhow.

what an idiotic post.Neymar is a diver, but its totally acceptable to go down when someone smacks you in the face or stomps on you.And ROFL at Di Maria not fallinghalamadrid2 wrote:Neymar is a serial diver. Re: Pepe-Bruno Alves
I have no sympathy for divers tbh
They try to win fouls that aren't there and get people booked for fk all, so when they're treated unfairly it is simply justice

not saying he has never done it but he has cut down on it significantly to the point where you won't find an instance of it occuring. would take me a few clicks to find Neymars but nobody has denied him being a diver merely just making an analogy for arguments sake

Re: Pepe-Bruno Alves
Sorry, but denying Di Maria's theatrics is just silly. I'm not a multimedia whiz so cannot provide his clips yet my words will resonate testament to the GoalLegacy Barca fans and neutrals alike who will state witness to his absurd thespian acts in Real Madrid. Lets not even go to Benfica were he dove twice as much.

Re: Pepe-Bruno Alves
Di Maria stopped diving last year... i agree with HM2 on this. Ganso knows I wasn't a big fan of Di Maria.
Neymar dives... but he will soon get over it because referees will stop giving him calls and defenders will look to crush him to make him stop. It happens to all the divers eventually and they learn (at least the smart ones).
