Moise Kean
Time to get the hype rolling. His name is becoming well known. For those who hadn't followed him, Kean is a teenager from piemonte who joined Juve at 10 year old. Plays as a striker and quickly rose through the youth teams always playing with older kids. Same as in club, he participated in all levels of the NT and always shot through the ranks, moving up faster than his teammates.
He is fast, strong, agile, good in the air, has good close control and a deadly shot. His movement is great and is always looking to attack the goal, reminds me of Suarez.
Within 14 months or so he debuted for Italy U19, 20, 21 and now the senior team. Scoring 10 goals for the national teams in this span with a goal in less than 90 minute average. Including the Euro U19 where scored in the groups, semifinal, and 2 in the final. For the senior NT he just debuted in the Euro qualifiers and played 2 matches, scored in both.
Debuting in Serie A and champions league for Juve as a 16 year old he became the first 2000-born player to feature in these competitions or the top 5 leagues. Scored his first Serie A goal as well.
Last season, at 17 yo, he was loaned to Verona for playing time. Became a starter for them already and scored Benzema like numbers: 4 goals, but missed half of the season due to injury.
Now back at Juve training with the first team he was given a chance and took it brilliantly. In only 317 minutes he has scored 6 goals and an assist. He scored in the coppa italia once and 5 times in Serie A, including a brace+assist vs Udinese, the winner against Milan and Empoli. Bringing him this season to 6 goals (50 minutes per goal for Juve) and 2 goals in 2 matches for Italy.

Re: Moise Kean
Surprised at the restraint of Jjuve fans that there hadn't been a hype thread alreay. IIRC he's been considered one to watch for quite a while now?

Re: Moise Kean
Yeah he has been on the hype track since he was 15 but I don't hype Juve primavera players.
Our internal youth teams are used in a way that if you are actually good, you get immediately loaned out. Kean is the rare exception in that he was the best, but also kept close. Mainly because he was so young and already playing with much older kids so the experience was good anyway. This season he improved tons, really made the leap from prospect to (so far) key player.
So far gives the feeling in his play that he will always score. Against Milan he would have had a second goal but it was incorrectly disallowed. Hope he continuous this pace.

Re: Moise Kean
Last season to Verona in Serie A. Usually our players are moved from the primavera to Serie B at 21 or so. Most dont even spend much time (or any time) with the primavera if they are signed from another youth club, they get immediately loaned to out to Serie B/C, and after 1 or 2 seasons to A if they are making it.
He got promoted at 16 to the primavera (U20) and to train some times with the first team where he debuted and scored then. So then got loaned straight to Serie A (Verona) and now back to the first team in full capacity. Raiola wanted to take him on loan again and there were Italian and Dutch teams after him in the summer for it. During the winter market Milan tried to sign him. It was a great choice to keep him at Juve.

Re: Moise Kean
An attacker with great sense of football, he's always trying to get himself open, he creates scoring chances out of nowhere with his positioning. Plus his finishing is correct, he doesn't waste obvious goals.
To me it shows a confident young man with good awareness. A great mentality. With Bernardeschi and Pjanic he'll be well served.
What he needs to improve is decision making when an unexpected scoring chance happens, example his breakaway last week vs Cagliari, he could lob the ball instead of shooting in GK's chest. This will improve with time and experience, the bases are all there.
Count me on the hype train

What position is he exactly? He looks nothing special to me, happy that he is enjoying some success though

Re: Moise Kean
I don't think he plays like Suarez. From that clip i see a really big CR7 influence in his game, particularly his dribbling and flair as well as his movement.

I wanna say something about Serie A and Quagliarella is their top scorer but Kean really does look the part. Hope he is successful tbh.

He's the player we Romanisti thought Stefano Okaka would become. His instincts are excellent and he handles the big plays really well. Gem of a player.

Re: Moise Kean
Very much so. He's scored a good goal against Lecce, I think, that really launched him as more than a prospect in Romanisti eyes, but he just never really got the chances to build on that as the coaches during his time here were not youth friendly. Under a coach like EDF or even Zeman, I think he would've done well.
All that said, Kean is light-years better at the same age. They move in a similar way though.

Re: Moise Kean
He is not an elite-ish talent but has developed this uncanny ability to make something happen while he is on the pitch.
Still very raw but already has proven to be an excellent finisher and has terrific movement off the ball. Good to see finally someone from the youth academy to step up. It's been a long time.
Oh and he's already worth more than the entire Milan team combined bar Pyotek.

Re: Moise Kean
Should either start or atleast get significant minutes against Ajax. He's scoring for fun even with our fucking C team ffs.
He's in blistering form right now. Our most in-form attacker atm.

Re: Moise Kean
I have my doubts on how he will perform in such a big stage and in a high-pressure second leg (though he has not flopped in any particular moment so far) but would certainly be better than Mandzukic who is only being praised for his specified tactical off the ball movement role and really cannot score to save his life for half a year now.
Kean may just make the difference for them on tuesday.

Kean looks like he give 0 fucks about pressure and was already good vs Atletico. Looks fantastic and the form he is on is just too much.

Re: Moise Kean
I didn't think FM 19 legend Moise Keane would be outshining Dybala but real life football is so grand and delightful when it's ready. Hopefully he doesn't pick up any shitty injury that curtails his development.
