Doesn't it feel good not to watch? I am completely turning a blind eye to this team until the summer.

I missed it, as well. Did I really miss anything, though? I see we drew against them.

Diaz was the only highlight of what was a pretty shitty football game.

As much as i tend to dislike attacking midfielders of his ilk, i must say, Brahim looks interesting.

Looks alright. At least, he tries. Enthusiasm almost seems like a luxury, these days. I suppose I've watched too many RM and Man United games lately.

Same as both clubs pretty much drained me of any enthusiasm. But Diaz looks like with some actual playing time, he's gonna be a proper wide player.
The moment Lucas came on for him, every thing just went to naught.

Re: meaningless la liga
Brahimi wasn't actually good. He just had a few nice looking dribbles and tocuhes, but most of them sideways and to no end.
What he did well was coming back and stealing a couple of balls.
But no point placing too much expectation on him if you ask me.

Getafe play annoying kick and rush football though, as well as obnoxiously milking for free kicks at every opportunity.

Reminds me of some German team over achieving this season.Hapless_Hans wrote:Getafe play annoying kick and rush football though, as well as obnoxiously milking for free kicks at every opportunity.

I may be biased, but I think Ødegaard looks substantially more productive in any given match. I watched Brahim's video right after watching highlights from Ødegaard's last Vitesse match that I wasn't able to watch live. It includes all of his involvements, as well as mistakes, and I still thought the difference in skill and impact was quite apparent.

He's only 19, to be fair. I think it's safe to assume that there's plenty of time for him to reach his potential. I honestly don't see him as starter material right now, though. I think our standards should be higher than that.

a week or so more, he is coming of 2 months lay off, what's the point of rushing him? season is over, and most likely he will spend the summer with Brazil playing copa america

He's been back and trained with the team for about 2 weeks. How much more does one need. The boy is eager to play, let him. I am sick and tired of seeing Bale and Asensio on that left side

the guy is young and has come back from his first somewhat major injury bout. you want to rush him back for games that mean absolutely nothing? for games that are scrimmages? what if he gets hurt again? which is not outside the realm of possibility , just ask modric, after carlo foolishly had him start after his injury or bale, who messed up our game against barca when zidane rushed him back
i don't mind junior resting for the remaining games (i can't even call them games, i'll go with scrimmages) and just training focusing on next season. its too late to start bossing teams at this point, let whoever is available play and not risk this kid for games that mean absolute squat

he's not being rushed back. He's been training for 2 full weeks. I am not even asking for a game from start just to give him a few mins easing him in. Instead he's not played at all. He's been ready for 3 maychdays. It's not a risk playing him, initially he was scheduled to play this game but he got back way earliertitosantill wrote:halamadrid2 wrote:He's been back and trained with the team for about 2 weeks. A proper 3rd place La Liga squad tbh. Bale, Mariano and Lucas as our forwards, sigh. Also, no Valverde makes sense, he's rotational after all.

Re: meaningless la liga
Mariano making excellent runs, feel bad for him cause right now besides ceballos our midfield is garbage.
Bale, Modric, Carvajal, and casemiro are playing very bad. It's killing our play. Kroos not pressing properly and has been poor defensively
Bale, Modric, Carvajal, and
