Benzema did great for the goal. very calm and experienced.
Vini was shite. he is stressed out. we could've scored 3 if Vini could get his shit together.
Marcelo is weak defensively. i'm scared.
Modric and Navas were great too.

but we are giving them easy chances. malcom dribbling through our left flank like he is Robben.

i hope the missed chances don't bite our ass.

Nice, decent half. Llorente has been excellent in cutting all the passing lanes. Benz has been a great target man. Vini has been alittle immature with his final ball, but you sense that someone will happen everytime he gets the ball. When Messi comes on, they'll likely take off Malcom and they'll lose that double marking thry have on him

When even a team without a right wing targets you, it's time to say goodbye to football at the very top. Nacho should be coming on in the second half

Bar Marcelo and Kroos everyone was decent

Marcelo is done at this level, it's like watching Roberto Carlos in one of those once a year legends games , he's in utterly awful physical form and his place is in Brazil at the moment

Courtois will probably be good for a team like Atleti and Juve. But in a team with a high zigzag line as ours, having his reflexes and speed helps alot

Kroos played good in the defensive phase. Everyone did actually. Marcelo is the glaring hole. He has lost his athleticism completely and is putting his team under immense pressure.

Decent result to take home. So frustrsting conceding such an avoidable goal

My God how much Casemiro dwells on the ball. Probably the easiest to steal the ball from behind

Awful subs. One was unavoidable so I'll accept that.

All we know for next game is that Reguillon has cemented himself as a starter

Didn't like how we sat back for most of the game but understandable given our next two games are also away. The time to pounce will be when Barca find themselves in our situation about 2 weeks from now

Right, decent result. Actually, it's a good result since we have the away goal. Would start with Barca, Arthur and Busquets were immaculate tonight, has the latter ever had a bad match vs us? Malcom and Semedo were the threat I thought they were gonna be and Coutinho was not as bad as people have written. That being said, as soon as Messi came on, he killed their game big time and I'm not sure how.

As for Madrid, Modric and Kroos did well, worked hard on and off the ball. Big Ben ran himself into the ground, so did Lucas, good matches. I fucking hate Bale so much, it actually hurts. Like, I feel a pain in my soul knowing that he is paid so much money. Vini showed his age and experience today but all part of the learning curve, Hazard can't come soon enough.

Marcelo, well, this match was not cut out for him at all but he kept trying so the least I can do is appreciate the effort. Next time though, start Regi and ease our minds Solari.

Bale what a waste of money you are. he comes at last 30 minute and is supposed to give os energy and speed but plays like a drunk 40 year old. making stupid run after run and missing our best chance in second half.

Marcelo again. he was about 30 meter behind the man he was supposed to mark. we are already 1 behind when he is playing. jumping od the ball and using useless trick doesn't make up for the shit level he shows every game defensively.

If Reguilon was there, Malcom couldn't do shit all game. but thanks to Marcelo he was a constant headache.

Vini was absolute garbage. not suited to play big games like this yet. but still he has pace and he gets involved. Bale on the other hand :facepalm:

Case was shit too. his indifference was annoying as hell and made many mistakes.

Benzema, Ramos, Navas and Modric were fantastic. but Benzema is alone up there. Vini and Bale could'nt give him a simple pass to score. he was without service. yet created the goal. i hope people here has come to their senses and see what a complete and smart player he is.

This was a game to win easily. but we missed. i hope we don't pay for it.

For the summer we need two world class wingers. Likes of Bale and Vazquez and Asensio are not good enough. and Vini is young.

oh and one other thing. an in form Isco could've help us alot. it's a damn shame waht has happened between him and Solari. it will cost them both.

Absolute garbage is so harsh, I wanna say it is wrong. Do remember, he provided the cross to Benny. Also, he's 18 in his debut season, cut him some slack nah.

Vini was ok. It is definitely expected that he was going to make mistakes especially agaisnt a world class team in Barca. At least he is now getting experience in playing in a big match and it will help him

Missed 3 fantastic chances. he was bad believe me. and the goal was all Benzema imo.

Yeah, I think it should be expected that Vini isn't ready for this type of game. If anything, he's been surprisingly positive, despite his obvious inexperience. One could argue that his decision-making cost us at least one goal, but I'm pretty sure we created the majority of our chances through his involvement. Ideally, we wouldn't be relying on someone as young as him, but that's just how it is.

Benzema was our man of the match, in my opinion. Didn't put a foot wrong, and I'm really happy to see how he's been playing recently. That said, I think some of you really have gone above and beyond in knee-jerking to his upturn in form.

If anything Vinicius created that chance, all Benz did was square it 3m to a wide open Lucas Laughing

With that being said he screwed up 2 great chances, that one where he and Benz were fighting for the ball was so tilting.

Modric didn't create anything and was constantly hacking down players, i can't believe he didn't a get a yellow all game.

Good game from Ramos, Navas and Varane.
