is el clasico really going to be on saturday?
cmon .... we will be playing ajax on wendsday and it will be in holland , while barca will be playing pate porisov (or what ever) on tuesday at the camp nou!!
How is that fair?!

Its not on the 11th because barca has to go to Japan by the 15th for the Club World Cup.
It may be unfair a bit but its nothing major compared to last season I guess. Mou may leave several squad players off the Ajax match so no worries there.

It's schedueled for Saturday coz maybe Barça has a WC game on wednesday the 14th.

What are you so worried about. It's in our casa, we are on a role. By the time this game comes around, I will have 8 of my 9 game prediction come true and we will be on a liga 10 game consecutive win streak (and a 6 game CL streak). This time the game is ours. I predict a 2-1 victory.

Barca will be back from Japan during this game. It's at home, we're on a roll. Honestly if we don't win I'm not responsible for any damage I might cause to other people's well being.

Il learned from the last seasons that we shouldn't be overconfident about a clasico event if we play at home.
It's true that we have progressed since the Clasicos war last season and we showed a beautiful football against them in the SC, but i just keep in mind that they have Messi who beat us by his own in the last matchs.
We should play this Clasico as if it is a final, it's the right way to break down Barcelona and get some steps over them.

I've never been one to expect the worst or to have low expectations, but it's more about being realistic. In the form we're in and with the clear improvements over last season, I've not been this confident for a long time. If we can't get the best of them in December, I don't know what more we could possibly have going into it.
I like the Saturday clasico. Any confirmation on the time of kick-off?

We are going to play a second choice player for nearly all positions against Ajax so fatigue is not really a problem.

Loosing or drawing against Barcelona at home will make all what we've done so far go for waste. This game means a lot for Mou and for all the club, a win will be our real boosting to titles and as a result a big pression on cules.
I really wish to get to the Clasico with 3 pts ahead and achieve the game with 6pts. This is our big chance to buckle down all Europe and get some respect.

Agreed I would be happy with a draw. We would still be 3 points ahead.
