I think a cleansheet matters more than scoring 5 today. But we'll probably concede and score 3-ish

I want a comfortable win, not another goal chasing madness, just two goals diferrent with calm and collected close out.

Subs: Cech, Lichtsteiner, Elneny, Ramsey, Torreira, Saka, Nketiah

So 3 attackers against Fulham...

Emery is now counting Niles as a forward lol.

Ramsey rarely plays twice a week these days, and the absence of senior first team players means our wing-backs are the next best thing, I guess.

Still would prefer Saka, Willock or Nketiah getting a go, though, instead of three centre backs.

Fulham's team:

Rico; Odoi, Ream, Le Marchand; Christie, Cisse, Cairney, Bryan; Schurrle, Sessegnon; Mitrovic

Bet we‘ll still concede first and then struggle to create due to having 7 defensive players in the field.

Koscielny-Sokratis-Mustafi trio though. An actual back 3 of pure CBs.

Need to score within the first 20 minutes for an easy-ish match.

Emery is so up and down in terms of how his teams play... can look great for a stretch and then completely go down the toilet.

XHAKA is so stupid with his passing back, twice nearly cost us

It's been a messy opening 20 minutes.

Neither side can keep the ball for long, so it's been pinging about all over the place. We've already given up playing out with the CBs and the crowd is already frustrated because we keep getting forced backwards.

Fulham have had the best chance via Sessegnon. Sokratis ran out of defence to mark Mitrovic who had dropped deep between the lines, mistimed it, and left Koscielny exposed 1v1 with a far quicker player.

At the moment, 3 at the back is looking redundant.

XHAKA 1-0. Excellent run from midfield, well-found by Iwobi and a cool finish. Against the run of play somewhat.

Sessegnon missed a huge chance for Fulham a few moments before.

Inspite of the goal. XHAKA's passing is amazingly pathetic today. Our defence is again like an accident waiting to happen.

His first touch has been poor, too. Besides his goal, he's been our worst player.

Iwobi, on the other hand, has been our best player. Perhaps he's coming into form again.

1st half done, im not sure we got better going forward or Fulham defense was shit but positive end. We need a goal though

Finished that half well. The goal seemed to sharpen our focus and we actually managed to put together some dangerous attacks.

Why can't this Iwobi be available for at least 80% of the season?

Interesting thing today has been Iwobi playing wider than usual to let Kolasinac run inside of him. Makes you wonder if Iwobi's benefiting from having more options in the middle.
