Fulham Vs Arsenal
Don't like the look of this one. Mitrovic is everything we struggle against. They do have pace and trickery in their team too.
But we are still better.

Re: Fulham Vs Arsenal
Yea this could be a potential bump in the road.
Would take another grind out win tbh.
Don't know when exactly to expect us to perform better, but it will most likely not come in an away derby game.

Re: Fulham Vs Arsenal
Ozil out with a back spasm. Team:
Leno; Bellerin, Mustafi, Holding, Monreal; Torreira, XHAKA; Iwobi, Mkhitaryan, Welbeck; Lacazette
Subs: Martinez, Sokratis, Lichtsteiner, Kolasinac, Guendouzi, Ramsey, Aubameyang
Maybe we'll buck the trend of poor and disjointed first half performances today.

Think we will start well and end the game poorly this time once Ramsey comes on

Played well until Monreal gave it away and gifted them a goal.

Re: Fulham Vs Arsenal
Bellerin has no right to be in the starting line up, Lich has been playing so much better.
Plus, we have to blame the whole left side for the goal conceded, no one was close to Monreal for him to pass to, who inturn passed it like a moron along the ground instead of hitting it up the field.
Child like mistakes

Re: Fulham Vs Arsenal
Monreal
Now we have to fight and assert ourselves again in the second half to win the game.
That was promising though. Iwobi out on the left is really providing us with much needed balance, and movement we displayed for a stretch there in the half was some of best we've played so far this season. We just need to make the ball stick and move it a bit faster in the second half.

Re: Fulham Vs Arsenal
Arsenal defenders and errors that lead to goals, won't find a better duo
We can still win this game, if we had some control (Ozil) we would've been up 2-3 goals up already. Shame he's out.

XHAKA needs to come to take the ball from the midfielders instead of jogging around.

Who's actually playing the 10 role? Welbeck

Re: Fulham Vs Arsenal
It's been more like a 4-4-2 today with Welbeck close to Lacazette. Hasn't looked too bad, either.

Re: Fulham Vs Arsenal
So Emery will play Welbeck and Lacazette upfront but not Aubameyang and Lacazette
Hopefully this is a sign for things to come.

Re: Fulham Vs Arsenal
Think it's because of Welbeck being a half midfielder and half striker. His work rate is immense.

Re: Fulham Vs Arsenal
That was very encouraging to see. International break coming at the wrong time then
We can but hope we keep this type of performance going once we get back to things in a fortnights time. Hopefully Emery doesn't go stupid with Laca - Auba - Ramsey - Ozil attack again

Re: Fulham Vs Arsenal
The best thing today was how most of our players played in their preferred role. 4-4-2 worked for all the players.

Been using arsenal in a 4-4-2 formation in fifa 19. Laca and Auba upfront. Scored at least 4 5 goals average against juve, madrids, barcas and man utds etc
