At least console peasants can play Red Dead Redemption

They're milking the peasants before making it available to the master race. Modding will never come for peasants though.

I can get a gaming PC and mod games, I just don't want to. A good game doesn't need mods and no amount of mods can make a game good if it's crap to begin with (see: TES).

Also, as I got older, I don't really enjoy playing games that much anymore.

I can see that you've never experienced the feel of making your favorite game even better and fresh with new content. Providing milk for new content is the peasants way.

Severely disappointed that TES VI will use gamebryo, there's limitations in the engine that became grossly apparent in Fallout 4 and its animation mechanics are completely outdated in this day and age and with something as big as TES the ambition of modders has already outgrown the scripting limitations of the engine. I wonder which mods they'll incorporate into the game this time because of all the mods to incorporate Settlement building is an odd choice, probably made because of the popularity of house mods but it shows they're wanting to appeal to the lowest common denominator, not make another masterpiece like Morrowind.

The saddest thing is that we'll probably see the same game save corruption bug that appeared and was fixed in Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, Skyrim AND Fallout 4.

As if the Engine is the only thing holding back Bethesda RPGs anyway.

They have many more issues than just the engine and always have, people just ignored it because the competition was crap and nobody opened their eyes to the possibilities.

Now multiple developers have entered their space, it's shown just how flawed they are as a developer. The engine stuff is nowhere near the only thing they are behind the competition in, it's just an easy excuse to blame.

This shouldn't be surprising though, we are talking about a developer who probably gets more excuses for their flaws than any developer on the planet.

Admittedly it's full on nostalgia but I'm getting the Spyro remakes tbh.

Loved the games and they seem to have done a good job with the remakes.

Star Trek fans haven't forgiven the lack of Q&A and actual attention to detail on Star Trek Legacy. Game single handedly killed Star Trek as a gaming IP for 7 years. Game actually got distributed with a picture of a dev with a goat in the game files.

The situation with TES & Co. is that you've got a hardcore fan base which was slightly diluted by the Oblivion console release and then went full mainstream with Skyrim so many of the people who encountered issues in Skyrim saw those issues for the first time. They also didn't see the steep decline in the quality of content from Morrowind through Oblivion to Skyrim so what you end up with is a vocal majority who simply aren't aware of Bethesda's repeating issues or tired of them.

That's fair.

So apparently you can't uninstall Fallout 76 unless you have an account that owns Fallout 76. So if you cancel your pre-order or one of the refer a friend people don't forget to uninstall before you cancel the pre-order.

I am surprised they didn't wait on fallout 76 though. Unless they already had their go and didn't think it was worth including.

Fallout 76 has a 56 GB day 1 patch

The game is 68 GB

Think their date was set a long time ago, i think the most likely game which would have been added if they waited is probably Smash Bros.

Yeah, I got bored of MHW after 20-25 hours but I can completely understand the hype. An elite co-op experience.

Game is gonna be utter shit. It's just a Fallout co-op sandbox game, except 0 NPC's

It literally seems like new Elder Scrolls and Starfield being years away so they put something together to get some profit with minimum effort. Probably wont even be on par with Elder Scrolls online, a game that hardly anyone even knows exists lol.

Im only getting it since my friends are getting it.

I can tell you for sure that Starfield won't see the light of day soon for sure, its being handled by a skeleton crew according to Todd Howard.

Its gonna be next gen material, PS5/Xbox One X Two, my prediction is a 2023-24 release

It's a Rust clone, Online is not just essential but core to the gameplay itself since there isn't any other content.
