I think I'll enjoy it tbh. Just not sure about full price. We'll see. So long as reviews don't eviscerate the game, I'm getting it I think. I like the human outpost sytem and the feel of the world from what I've seen.

It looked that way to me since day 1. This game is five years too late. Would have been a great launch title. Wish Bend made a console Syphon Filter game. The PSP games were really good.

Story teasers are always so underwhelming, i need gameplay tbh. Everything they've said here sounds really good.

But without seeing the actual gameplay described i really can't give an opinion on it much less get excited by it.

Considering it is developed by Respawn I'm expecting an average-good game, and certainly nothing to out of the ordinary.

People said the same about Guerrilla before Horizon, i don't particularly like judging an entire studio on past work thinking it works well in the future.

Particularly because they've worked mainly on shooters and this a 3rd person action game, the likelihood is most of the development team is full of people who didn't work there before this game.

Hopefully Zen 2 is 16 thread part, which would advance paraller computing in games in general. It's the most important thing I think for games to take next gen step, as single thread CPU power has stalled. 8 thread would be a massive disappointment and condemn gaming to this level for the next 5 years.

There was a leak a month or so ago, which got pretty much all this stuff right which claimed it will be.

I guess we'll have to wait and see for confirmed info though.

Yeah, because it's desktop cpu I too think it will be 16 thread part. Can't wait for the highly complex games with massive battles etc. like KCD2 and M&B2. And because it's straight up desktop cpu, porting or simultaneous development for PC would be easier and cheaper I think.

Where? That's just speculation of Zen 2 in general, no PS5 mentioned. The chip could still be somewhat different than desktop parts.

Yh it doesn't confirm anything in relation to PS5, with that said at this point i do expect it.

But we'll just have to wait till Sony releases full specs and features.

I've been playing Battlefront 2 recently. Haven't really played it much since launch but thought i'd check it out because of the stuff they've supposedly added, it's honestly really fun atm. ( Although Anakin is currently busted )

The new mode Capital Supremacy is incredibly fun, only real downside is that it's only on Geonosis atm but apparently they're adding it to more maps and they've made a lot of changes which makes the progression way more fun/less grindy. Obviously i'm playing against people who have played for two years straight so their is always going to be disadvantages there but it feels pretty quick to get up to speed for newer/returning players.


In general it just feels like the suits involved just left the game and the people that care on the dev team took over, it's never gonna be some extreme competitive shooter but if you go into expecting a good/fun time for a few hours at a time with the Star Wars power fantasy you will enjoy yourself. I get the feeling it would get more praise if EA wasn't lurking in the background of it all.

If I wanted to give a shooter a chance right now, I'd probably go back to playing Rainbow Six: Siege. But no.
