Uncharted Lost Legacy is every bit of a full on Uncharted game.

It's sad how little played it because it was initially marketed as DLC.

Forgot about lost legacy. I think it's due to the fact not many people are into those characters. No doubt it's a great standalone game but it just doesn't attract general attention.

I wonder if Naughty Dog will go with a completely new IP after TLOU2.

Hope they do tbh.

There is no Uncharted without Nathan Drake imo. There are very few games that can build a series with different characters and still be great. I don't think Uncharted is one of them because how heavily it relies on him.

Bioshock 2 DLC was better than the game lol.

RG i thought the same before i played Lost Legacy but i don't feel that way anymore.

The best thing i can say about it is i now have full confidence in a sequel with Chloe as the main character.

With that said i still think I'd prefer a new ip, it's been nothing but Uncharted and TLOU for a decade.

With the success of Lost Legacy, Uncharted can absolutely continue without him. They can make games with Chloe or Sam.

There's some rumors that after Microsoft has purchased both Obsidian and inXile, they might be developing BG3. And one of the connections could very well be that current president of WotC was vice president of Microsoft. And this could then mean that he could get WotC to give permission for second set D&D-rules, and then they could directly continue the story. WotC have previously stated that they wont allow the second set anymore, and BG Dragonspear was the last one with it.

Naturally, you take the feedback from both journalists and players, compare it to uploaded footage, and come to your own conclusions regarding the actual quality of the game. That way, you don't have to purchase the game and possibly get disappointed. This isn't a particularly hard thing to figure out. Besides the average gamer are usually way worse than any journalist, because mainly they don't actually understand things properly and are way too emotional to actually evaluate things fairly.

I don't trust any of them. Listen to the ones you think sound sensible.

There's some which have given me no reason to not trust them.

Doesn't matter because i usually decide months before a game is out whether i want it or not. But there are some reviewers who are good.

Wonderful news. They already made probably the biggest vanilla rpg, and are going to expand a lot from that. Furthermore because the firm is backed by private investor it isn't bound to stealing money from children for share holders like pretty much every other big "game" developer.

There's no problem in "Skyrim"-engine, if they can upgrade it to modern standards, ie. cell streaming and better model handling, as it has the best dynamics and modding capabilities currently. Moving to completely new engine would be pretty big risk to take. But yeah, if they can't make those upgrades after 10 years, it will be a huge disappointment. Zenimax is currently milking Bethesda legacy and is ruining their game series.

Skyrim doesnt look good today though, it looked good in 2011 but for todays standards it's very average.

And modding doesn't count, at least not for me, since I'm a console gamer.

Like I said, it's easy to upgrade effects, they only need better models to it to look as good as anything today, and better cell streaming it to match Kingdom Come, W3, and Gothic 1 etc.

Console peasant opinions don't count, as you are the cause of milking industry of today.

At least console peasants can play Red Dead Redemption
