Ferland Mendy Empty Ferland Mendy

Another underrated fullback, in my opinion the best LB in france at the moment as well, he is quite fantastic.

tall, fast, good crosser, good passer, and great dribbler as well. Oddly has a quality right foot for a leftie. I think he is a better talent than Benjamin Mendy (forced comparison since they have the same name).

@farfan, is he playing for france or senegal?

Compared to Benjamin, he's better defensively, he's faster, and he's the superior dribbler.

He's holding out for France but Senegal is being very persistent.

Did you see him in the friendly against Uruguay? He legit looked like Marcelo technically but with some defense.

Wikipedia says he's 1.78m. Same height as the likes of Hector Bellerin and Cesc Fabregas. I wouldn't call that particularly tall Razz Seems like a competent dribbler, though.

Dominating the defender in terms of pure speed was impressive enough, but that tight angle finish was glorious!

Its time to discuss him amonsgt the best in the world

Upsurped one of our most legendary LBs and is consistent every match. He might not have the tricks, dribblign and crossing of Marcelo but makes up for it for his incredible speed, strength, stamina and tackling. His finishing and passing is also very well and is still young to work on his crossing.

One of the brightest signings we have made in the last couple of years and I'd say we made the right move on choosing Mendy over Regi.

While, I’ll agree, i still want Reguilion coming back, (replacing Marcelo on Squad) to be a backup to Mendy. Requilion has better offensive numbers so the two of them kind of complement each other and the pair of them would solidify that position for years.

Marcelo crossing and dribbling is overrated as hell, the way people talk about Marcelo you think he rack up assists and goals, Marcelo is wasteful and a bad defender, would've been exposed years if contrao wasn't so injury prone, I don't know what you guys gain from praising useless dribbles skills, mendy shows doing your job and being smart gets results don't need to do useless things to be effective.

You guys can think what you want but remember praising useless dribbles is why isco never progressed, asensio and vini is on the same path, being effective makes more sense than the nonsense a lot of the players are doing making the team struggle more than necessary, hazard is another prime example every time he comes back from injury the team is more likely to lose.

You've written some proper horse shit before but I think that has to be your magnum opus.

Thank you.
