Same procedure as last year. Who's up for it again? We need some more members.

Expecting us to draft in the week leading up to the season, which starts on the 16th of October

If we don't get enough participants, it's because folks are scared of me. In which case I'll declare myself the winner.

Freeza already listing the ranking for NBA fantasy league 2019

Luca will be in too I imagine so we need two more.

I'm in brothers. I hope we can get 10-12 [active] people, I may be able to supplement some real life friends in, if we need it.

So, are we any wiser whether this can be put together or not? Two weeks will go past fast.

Haven't spoken to either in over a year lol and unless they log on their ps4 out of nowhere I can't.

Basically we need two people to join who haven't before or we can't do it.

Sounds to me like it's the six in the OP plus randoms or nothing. I've never done this, so I don't know how many it takes to make this thing feasible.

8 is minimum after that it's any even number.

Abra is actually realistic as he's done it every year and hasn't gone months without posting lol.

Just gotta hope he signs on in the next 2 weeks lol.

It's very easy to play to be honest. We play head to head, so each week you'll go against one of the other members and at the end of the week, the player who won the most categories, wins the week. Categories include things like points, fg %, ft %, turnovers (less is more), rebounds, assists, blocks, etc. So, you can't just load up scorers, you need 'fantasy' players -> players who are well rounded, with a couple marquee scorers or however you choose to build your team. We do a draft, so you get to pick your team and also it means two teams can't have the same player, unlike football fantasy leagues.

With 8 people, we will all have stacked teams so the nuances of the draft/team composition will matter much less than in a 10 or 12 man league.

Like I said earlier, I can try to see if a couple friends will join but I can't guarantee it

Are there any transfers in and out of the teams during the season or not? I'm guessing not (coz what's the point of the draft, then?), but what about injuries?

There's free agents ( basically players who don't get drafted) and you can trade amongst other participants.

When it comes to injuries you get one Injury reserve slot or you can just drop them for a free agent.

Mole answered it. There’s not much to it, the main strategy is in the drafting and then you just have to hope players perform and there aren’t Hayward like injuries (please no more of this)

It's basically just to draft the players with the highest PER and hope you can predict which players will improve from year to year
