I honestly just watch Lyon and Marseille. Not particularly hard but it can be a legit chore sometimes.

how much Depay you watched this season? how's he doing?

Lyon is more fun right now because they have legit talented young players....  so it's more about scouting.

Depay is very talented with a shit attitude. He would never do well in a big-ish club.

Looks really good when his head is on straight this season.

My opinion: he has been good in his role so far. Might go as far as "pretty good". But Lyon can be really good one week and really cancerous the other and Depay is essentially that as well. I think the word is inconsistent I believe. He is still very one footed and still has a weird tunnel vision that would irritate another manager.

He suits Lyon really, that's his level. If he tries to go a bigger club, I don't think it'll work out for him. Also, his hair style choices are stupid.

I know I contradicted with good and inconsistent but that's how he is. When Lyon is playing well, he is playing well. When Lyon is sucking, he is sucking.

Sounds like the Depay I saw at times during previous seasons at Lyon, was hoping he would have found some consistency. Never really got a chance for us.

Lyon were playing out of their mind vs CIty, now losing 2-0 to Lille

Ferland Mendy is a special player. better talent than City's Mendy imo, uses his right foot more than any left back i can think of. This allows him to be very very good on the ball dribbling and attacking, he can change side easily.

Yeah, Lyon sucks. Completely fraudulent team.

Lyon played absolutely great football at Lille... and Lille have won 6 and drawn 2 so far at home; so it's not an easy place to play at all.

Really really good game by lyon.  They just got caught with quasi perfect finishing by Lille in the first half despite Lyon dominating. Poor finishing and great keeping allowed Lille to take that lead.

That should have been a win for them and I really dislike Lyon.

The OM fans are so harsh on the players that, after the game against Monaco yesterday (1-1 draw), some of players went to talk to the ultra sections. Very very hardcore.

It's to the point where OM is better off in away games. That's how bad it's gotten with the fans.

I only took in highlights, were they bad or something? Just seem like it was an even, decent game.

Since the start of December, we've lost 4 games and drawn 2.  And the lineup has been:

Nantes (L)
Limassol (L)
Strasbourg (L)
Angers (D)
Andrezieux (L)
Monaco (D)

Pathetic doesn't even start to describe it.

I usually choose the former on the weekends, partying during the week with work the next day isn't exactly ideal lol. As for the latter, this is the burden I must bare.

Lovely season for me so far.  Madrid provided me balance for the OM games for years...  now it's all about complete depression.

Madrid is far better than OM mind you. But compared to my expectations, Madrid is also far more disappointing. Until OM proves me wrong in one of these seasons, I have exactly zero expectations there.

Be realtistic Sports! You should also have zero expectations for Madrid as well, at least for this season! I think I’ve watched less than 10 games this season!

You have to admit Bill.. even when we suck in the past, we were at least entertaining mostly. We always had attacking players worth watching. The only players worth looking at this season are defenders at Madrid. That's not going to carry my the whole season lol.

And despite the hype train, I think Vinicius is being unfairly expected to save Madrid. He's far too young and far too raw. I hope it doesn't ruin him.

That pretty well sums it up. Now we are known as a defensive team! And that’s with the likes of Ramos and Marcelo in that defense!
