Sure if you call that, I call it defending my fellow brexit lads against racism and hatred
Meh, you should relax IMO
Football is coming home. Obviously a lot of people are mad about it. Let them stay mad, brother, and enjoy the full power of hard brexit.
I'll relax when we win and unleash my inner spite on everyone

When you saw the DM come in against Russia, Modric suddenly looked like himself again.
Deschamps does crap like that too.
The weird thing is he was playing with Brozovic as a DM for most of the tournament. No idea why he decided to switch and play a Modric-Rakitic double pivot

He did the same mistake Löw did vs Mexico and Sweden. They thought by removing a DM in front of the defence they can overload park the bus teams with one more attacker from midfield to score sooner then to bring a DM later on for stabilization.
The problem was neither Russia nor Mexico parked the bus. They attacked the midfield directly cutting the supply chain to the forwards alltogether. Croatia survived, we didn't

WAT.
He was very good, created loads of chances through either passing or crosses.
Not his fault that Lukaku and others kept stumbling over the ball like donkeys.

What chances are you talking about, he had one key pass all game. Was dispossessed 3 times, more than anyone else on the pitch. 2 unsuccessful touches (only Chadli had more, you can include him too), worst passing percentage in the team.
He was terrible.

this is basically proof (as if we needed any more) that you don't watch the games and just post some random made up shit afterwards.
He was USELESS. 6.5!

For me De Bruyne played good ( and ok very good ) just against Brazil
But Martinez managed him badly though

It's not De Bruyne's fault Martinez is an awful manager. If he played the position he played at City he would surely play great for Belgium as well.

He had multiple passes and crosses which found a man in the box but the man they found literally couldn't control them lol.
Not really his fault imo.

2 - Varane, special ranking due to Mole praise, surely the best centerback in world football today

Re: WC best/worst player - power ranking
De Bruyne was poor, was gonna say something in between but nah, he was poor. 73% pass rate (less than any midfielder for either side), one key pass all game and genuinely could not get a footing at all. That 6.5 whoscored gave him is spot on from with respect to the eye test.

I agree, it was because of Martinez.
The Martinez's luck is not be named Wilmots. But he is an average coach though, and he made mistakes also in this WC

Re: WC best/worst player - power ranking
I disagree tbh but I don't care for pass percentages tbh.
Especially for a player who crosses a lot, like I said he put in some great passes and crosses which should have led to goals but players like Lukaku stumbled over his own feet and it allowed France to recover and eliminate the threat.
None of this is really De Bruyne's fault, I can't watch that game and really criticise him tbh.

Re: WC best/worst player - power ranking
De Bruyne was TERRIBLE apart from creating like 2 chances the whole match (half chances at that) constantly dispossessed, misplaced passes and pouty behavior. A farcry from City’s De Bruyne.

Re: WC best/worst player - power ranking
They were only half chances because Lukaku and others failed to control easy passes as I said.
I struggle to see what most of you saw tbh.
