When I actually kept up with these things, it used to be 2 years but that was a while ago. Could be 5 now. Also, unlike Vinicius, I actually like this signing. He honestly looks the part, this may pan out. Vinicius look like a future Sevilla signing with a buy back clause.

His ball control is incredible. He is one of those players who looks like they have a string tied to the ball at extreme pace.

one more year before he comes here. i can see why we're in no rush to sign a cf. he has excellent technique.

He's not a cf though, so I don't see why that would be the reason we're not buying one.

the potential IS there. and besides, these days our forwards need to be able to play on all forward positions including the wing. the fact rodrygo is already on the wing is a bonus.

its been a while since we've had a proper dribbling forward. Benz got conservative with his dribbling ever since he lost his acceleration so this is very welcoming.
Cristianos gone but when he was still here he could no longer dribble the way he used to at manutd. why im not sure. Bale is a counter attacking horse. relies more on his pace than dribbling.

in this regard, i hope both vinicius snd rodrygo help out in this underused area of attack. good dribbling always puts the squeeze into defenders. forces them to make mistakes and leave openings ready for us to exploit.

I know his form has fallen off a bit, but I am so excited for this kid. He looks so good overall. I do hope he comes in January. He could be the poor-mans Mbappe we need. He can play across all 3 forward positions, has bags of pace, good ball control, and an eye for goal that is way ahead of his age (for a winger).

As we have gotten a bit closer to his arrival, where do you guys see him in the future?

One concern is that he does occupy a lot of the same space Vinicius does. Do you think RM will push him forward as a CF or have him rotate with Vinicius, or put him on loan?
