I think considering the fact we are not spending the Coutinho money for an AM replacement and Ox is injured for another year, Fabinho will give Hendo lad much more freedom to express himself and getting across the half line for once.

Pogba, Matic, both elite..Fred a very exciting talent. Just gotta hope he can deliver in the PL, Ukranian league is shit, but he was great for Shakthar in the CL too.

Meanwhile you're foaming at the mouth proclaiming Keita is gonna be the best midfielder in the league based on absolutely nothing rofl

Henderson can only play DM and Klopp sees it that way too, he doesn't have the speed or dribbling skills to play a CM in a 3 man midfield, he can't carry the ball through the midfield, but he can launch some great long balls from the DM position. Only chance both Fabinho and Henderson start together is if we face a big team and need more defensive cover.
Ox was perfect for that 3rd CM spot, he was so damn good at carrying the ball through the midfield to our front 3, shame he got injured.

are you talking about the same 31yo matic who started well but was poor in the 2nd half of the season. and are you talking about the pogba that plays for france in the world cup and played for juve or the pogba that has been meh for manure since he signed. then you have freddy who has only played in the kazakhstan lge and was on the wrong side of a drubbing by liverpool in his first game. mourinho wins the title at every club he goes to. but i dont think he will carry on the trend here tbh and im not even trolling now. the money he has spent at the club is massive and you are still way way short of getting near city imo.

I see Ox more of a driver than a creator. For teams sitting back we can't break through the middle and Ox will be just another side passer rather than a driver there, which is why we need a AM imho

He is much more useful than Henderson in that role. Lallana could be our first choice 3rd CM this season, he had a great 16/17 season but was stopped by injuries last season, he seems fit now, could be like a new signing. If Lallana plays like 16/17 I'd play him, or if Wijnaldum was consistent and played every game like he plays in big games I'd play him as well. If Milner can carry on last season's form he can be a starter too. Klopp has many options now, it will be interesting to see his decisions.

Yea i thought he was a new signing because he plays quite intelligently and with maturity. Knows when to dribble and when to pass. Under Sarri he will get chances too which is good to see.

seems about right? he won't be playing for top teams and the PL clubs can outspend anyone which makes it more attractive than Europa League sides in Italy, Spain etc, not exactly an elite player anyway

In all seriousness, it's not the worst move for him. He'll be on good money and if his form is good he can easily move up the league. And he gets to play for Roy Hodgson, of course.
