Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion
I can't wait to see Emery's tactics and philosophy on the style of play. If anything we needed after Wenger, it is someone that demands one hundred percent effort on the pitch day after day. If he can instil that fight in every player, we can do it. I think this season will also show a lot of which players Wenger truly couldn't get the best out of, so that's another thing I am looking forward to.

If Watford get £50M for Richarlison then they should automatically be put in charge of Brexit negotiations.

It'd be cool if more clubs did this.

This needs to be stopped. Seriously.
Where do we go from here? This surely has to be the tipping point?

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion
Nonetheless, they're still willingly paying £30m plus on someone with a single year in English football and who is without a goal in over 20 games.
As I said else where, the Premier League market is beyond broken now. Now every club is wealthy and doesn't have to sell to balance the books, and can pay whatever it takes to get someone they want. No wonder the prices have shot up like they have done.
At this pace, I reckon we'll see a significant slow down in transfers between Premier League clubs and even more players coming in from abroad or the lower divisions. Everyone is milking the league for all its worth now, but there's still better value to be found outside of it.

Having your biggest transfer target as Jack Grealish doesn't make you poor, it makes you stupid.

Signing Son and Kane to new deals was the most important thing they could do this summer.

Tottenham have got a pretty good XI plus some depth, too, I'm not surprised they're not making moves. Don't really see who they could realistically add that would be a clear improvement on what they've got.
Hopefully the clubs outside of the top-6 will make some decent signings yet. A lot of clubs having a very underwhelming transfer window so far.
