You expect so many new players in a team to develop chemistry in their 1st game together? They were playing vs a compact team who had no new players in their first 11. You shouldn't judge them after 1st game lmao. Fulham will do just fine once they play some games together, nothing spectacular but they will have a fine season IMO.

Wolves' back three had been too deep against ten men. Seems to have changed in the last few minutes and it's paid off. Jimenez with the equaliser, Neves assist.

First time Wolves have more than 1 player in the box and they score.

Hopefully they don‘t score now, need that clean sheet.
Its the PL experience, Most of those Fulham lads don't know how to play in the PL. Stopping about and looking for fouls, not playing to the whistle. They'll get better during the season but they will certainly finish bottom half imho

If anything, I think Wolves are overhyped, they seem like a new QPR, they won't be as bad as QPR though they will stay in the league certainly

Is Sari playing Kante as a B2B? Wow. I saw him make more attacking runs into the box today then.... ever really lol. Was open too. But none of his teammates looked for him.

Not that unusual he's mostly been a B2B most of his time in England.
More defensive than today but still, his role has been very Essien like most of his time in this country.

Currently dominating Derby without actually going all out. Their full backs (Ayling and Douglas) creating nice overloads on the flanks and the midfield is doing better things with the ball. All in all, decent first half from them.
Casting an eye on the Everton Wolves game and Neves can only score golasos. Sure of it.
Literally the same as the 1st half but with 2 more goals.

Meh I don't think so, when has a technical player ever excelled at Everton? He might just be decent at best over the long run.

I mean the first goal he scored today was a goal mouth scramble he barely knew anything about
The 2nd was a decent finish i suppose but nothing special.

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion
He had a great first half of the season last season, then tailed off- but that could have been due to coaching changes etc. I hope the best for him. It was a pricey transfer but he is a bit of a unique player in the EPL

Curl the ball to the far post with a player in front of him is a bit more than just decent to be fair.

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion
Richarlison's xG last season was 13... but he only scored 5. He missed 13 Big Chances. He's basically a Brazilian Sterling right now (before Sterling sorted his scoring out, anyway), getting into great scoring positions but having awful finishing. Meanwhile, his dribbling and pace make him a decent creative player.
Everton spent big in the hopes that he'll come good on that unfulfilled promise from last season. Tbh, if the transfer was £10-15m cheaper I wouldn't have batted an eyelid at it. It's not unusual to pay around £30m for a player of his potential these days.

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion
Spurs were awful, but they looked exactly how I thought they would, a team of players with no rest or preseason playing the first game of the season away from home
Just looked slow, unpolished, and players were just off
Got the W tho
