glad we went out. We do not have quality and the type of squad to compete in EPL,CL and all these stupid meaningless cups. I dont understand why Klopp played Milner and not Curtis Jones in his place. I like that lad.

And Fabinho is definitely not ready. He seemed confused all the time, whether to hold the position or go and press. But there were moments when it felt like he will be much better suited to that DM line compared to Hendo. Also the back line and MF line were also disjointed and not compact; that was also the reason Fabinho looked worse than he was.

Gomez is miles ahead in quality and calmness compared to Matip and Lovren

Btw I dont care how good Jorginho or Hazard is, we are going to tear Chelsea apart on the weekend. It will be just a matter if Salah and co. can finish their chances. I think Chelsea under Sarri are developing fast but they will be soon found out once teams know how to tackle their tactics.

Fabinho started the match poor but he was really good in the 2nd half. The lack of midfield chemistry made him not look good in the start imo, these 3 are playing together for the 1st time in midfield so they are not in sync. I really liked Fabinho's passes too, he can pick out a nice pass. He can prove to be a great signing imo.

People saying I’m glad we are out of this cup. When we finish the season with nothing yet again people would be wishing we won this cup.

Trust me mate, I get you. But you have to put it in perspective. It wasn't like we played badly. There were just too many players who haven't played much or haven't played together. I think by the time FA Cup comes around the players will have sufficient game-time to click together and fight on both/three fronts.

Moving on, I guess the back five and front three pick themselves for tonight's game. That leaves the midfield and I'm guessing Klopp will opt for Wijnaldum, Milner and Henderson/Naby.

No everything is good bar that move, Allison should have saved that and Chelsea had no reason to cut through so easily, No surprise it came from Gomez's side.

we got city next I think so as it is now I can see that ending badly. What a difference 3 days makes.

Still the best defense in the league, getting wins and results out of nothing. Defense untested over 90 mins at the Bridge barring a WC goal from Hazard. Do share where you manage to get that negativity inside of you.

I wouldn't say it came out of nothing. We missed sitters, Kepa had great saves, their CBs cleared the ball of the line 2 times. Our attack isn't good at finishing atm. Van Dijk, Alisson & Robertson world class. Gomez is shaky, he's not first team material yet if you ask me, the goal came from his side.
